The sites overlook the beautiful Canadian River breaks to the north with wide open skies to the west and east to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. These are rustic sites with no improvements. We are just getting started with this so you’ll be able to help us from the ground up. If we are not in a burn ban you’re welcome to have a campfire. There will be opportunities to call up a wild coyote or watch some mule deer or an occasional antelope stroll by. You could even be awakened by the horses on their way to water in the morning and we can set up some horse riding if we have enough notice to schedule time off from the 9-5 haha. Can’t wait to see you on the prairie!

Coyote Breaks Farm
Great spot with lots of stars. Ted was a helpful guide to our campsite in the dark, and waking up to horses was a welcome surprise! We will come back!

Great spot for Route-66/I-40 travel
Our second stay at this great spot. Love the wide open pasture and Great Plains views stretching over miles. And if holding a favorable view towards wind turbines and how they work up close a great place to watch them at work. Just a quick overnight stop, and well worth it, as just about two miles off I-40, and easy access on solid gravel/river rock so no fear of bogging down should a rare rainfall occur. Horses came grazing right up to our rv in the morning as preparing to leave…which although startling to the furkids was a pleasant surprise. If you enjoy wide open spaces and isolation this is a must stop spot…and will continue to be a regular overnight rest for our annual trips.

Coyote Breaks Farm
Had a great time camping out at this location. Horses were very friendly. It’s a little further out from any service station, so make sure you have what you need before settling in. Will stay again if passing through!

visiting horses
Tyler was very helpful in getting me in to their spot and making sure I was situated. It was great camping around the windmills and a surprise visit from the horses.

Perfect Cross Country Camping Stop
We had an amazing time camping on Tyler’s land! It exceeded our expectations in both beauty and views, as well as Tyler’s hospitality and kindness. Watching the sunset, interacting with the horses, and exploring the land made for the perfect stop along our cross country trip. Our favorite part was getting to hang out with Ted! 😄

Beautiful Plains and Horses!
The property is super easy to find and Tyler was very responsive. It was a gorgeous view to wake up to! When we were packing up to leave the horses and calves finally came over to pay us a visit and my kids absolutely loved them all! Oh and the dog Ted led us in and let my girls love all over him. We got there kind of late so he stayed with us till we got set up then went on home.
