April’s place is in a quiet rural neighborhood. She is about a 10 minute drive from multiple stores if you need anything. It is a peaceful place. There is plenty of room to park your trailer and enjoy the birds while watching the sunset. April greeted us and brought over the hose and made sure we had everything we needed.

I would like to leave a review but got rained out so I could not use the campsite. App keeps prompting me for a review. April was very responsive and trying to get me to the place despite the thunderstorm.

Nice little spot outside the fray of Amarillo. Had a quiet and peaceful night. April was lovely and guided me as I backed in. My dog enjoyed some time in the dog park. Just watch out for your dog’s feet with the sandburs closer to where you park your rv. Would absolutely stay again!

April’s place was the perfect stop for us with our two dogs. There is a shaded fenced area for them to run free, and a nice flat spot for our camper with 50A service. Highly recommend this Hipcamp!

What a perfect spot! April met me when I pulled up and I immediately liked her. The spot for my RV was level and easy to access. The fenced in dog park was the best part, she had dog toys and treats and it was a relief after such a long drive to be able to let my dogs run around. I looked at all available spots in Amarillo to stay the night, and I’m so glad I chose this one. I’m a solo woman and I felt very safe here. April is a wonderful person and made me feel so welcome and special. You can tell she really enjoys hosting, and the positive energy that comes from that is refreshing! Highly recommend!

This is my new favorite HipCamp in Amarillo, great location and. wonderful space. April has a great spot for slinging a hammock and getting a good night’s sleep., just what I needed. The extra bonus was April sharing info about mountain bike trails in the area. I’m already looking forward to coming back

April’s place was a quiet and comfortable stay for an overnight. April was communicative, responsive, and came out to greet me even though I arrived later in the evening. Great spot and great host!

April has a private area for camping/parking the van. She also provides a fenced yard for dogs and hanging out in the shade. It was a convenient place to stop as we were traveling on I-40.
