This campsite was incredibly simple, private , quiet and great for our dogs! Plenty of room to pull in and enjoy! April was helpful and kind. I would most definitely recommend to anyone passing through needing a place to stay!

We had an amazing stay at April’s place. Her dog area was the biggest draw for me to select this for our trip. We highly recommend April’s place. Whenever we get back to Amarillo this will be in on list!!

Easy to find. Great location. Beautiful sunset. Fenced in area for pups was a great touch. April was sweet and checked in through message before arrival and when we happened to see each other in the morning.

This was a perfect spot for us to stay while passing through town. If you require a water hookup, make sure you ask her for it since she will need to bring the hose from her residence!
I had such a peaceful night at April's. Felt really safe. I will be returning on my way back home!!!

This is my second time staying at April’s. We love the spot and brought my pups this time. They loved the fenced in area and the hookups were the best to run the AC all night. Coming back next month!
I love staying at April's place on my road trips across Texas, she is always so friendly and welcoming. Easy in and out. Perfect place to geet a good nights rest.
April is a lovely host, and her place was wonderful! I slept sooo soundly. Good electricity = good AC! I enjoyed meeting her animals and taking a walk in her quiet country roads. East to find and easy to park.

April’s spot was exactly what I needed after a day full of driving. She is extra-communicative and the instructions to find the spot are easy to follow. I woke up to a few bunnies running around the rig. I can’t wait to bring my pups back with on my way back through to play in the fenced in area. Didn’t need the hookups but she has everything. Would definitely stay here again!

April‘s place was a much welcomed spot after a day of driving. Easy to find, convenient hook ups, and incredibly quiet. April communicated very quickly when my plans changed and I was happy we were able to make it work out. It’s the perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning before you start your journey. We’ll definitely be staying here again.
April’s place is in a quiet rural neighborhood. She is about a 10 minute drive from multiple stores if you need anything. It is a peaceful place. There is plenty of room to park your trailer and enjoy the birds while watching the sunset.
April greeted us and brought over the hose and made sure we had everything we needed.

I would like to leave a review but got rained out so I could not use the campsite. App keeps prompting me for a review. April was very responsive and trying to get me to the place despite the thunderstorm.

Nice little spot outside the fray of Amarillo. Had a quiet and peaceful night. April was lovely and guided me as I backed in. My dog enjoyed some time in the dog park. Just watch out for your dog’s feet with the sandburs closer to where you park your rv. Would absolutely stay again!

April’s place was the perfect stop for us with our two dogs. There is a shaded fenced area for them to run free, and a nice flat spot for our camper with 50A service. Highly recommend this Hipcamp!

What a perfect spot! April met me when I pulled up and I immediately liked her. The spot for my RV was level and easy to access. The fenced in dog park was the best part, she had dog toys and treats and it was a relief after such a long drive to be able to let my dogs run around.
I looked at all available spots in Amarillo to stay the night, and I’m so glad I chose this one. I’m a solo woman and I felt very safe here. April is a wonderful person and made me feel so welcome and special. You can tell she really enjoys hosting, and the positive energy that comes from that is refreshing!

This is my new favorite HipCamp in Amarillo, great location and. wonderful space. April has a great spot for slinging a hammock and getting a good night’s sleep., just what I needed. The extra bonus was April sharing info about mountain bike trails in the area. I’m already looking forward to coming back

April has a private area for camping/parking the van. She also provides a fenced yard for dogs and hanging out in the shade. It was a convenient place to stop as we were traveling on I-40.
