Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Biddle Bluff is a secluded 200 acre farm nestled at one of the highest peaks in Van Buren County. Biddle Bluff is a completely off-grid campground with breathtaking bluff views over Bone Cave State Natural Area and Laurel Creek to the West. Guests can relax and unwind while glamping in our wall tent that compliments the beautiful bluff views to the East overlooking the countryside of Doyle, Camp Clements and the Caney Fork River. Biddle Bluff guests can enjoy our private 18 hole disc golf course. Guests also enjoy hiking the nature trail that winds through the bluff leading to ponds, springs, wet season creeks and spectacular views. On the bluff, the wildlife consists of numerous snakes which include venomous species such as rattlesnakes, copperheads, and cottonmouths. Deer, turkey, coyotes, raccoons, skunks, armadillos and bobcats have been seen. NO HUNTING on Biddle Bluff. Guests should bring bug spray and be on lookout for scorpions-always check SHOES! Quiet Hours are from 11pm to 7am. Biddle Bluff guests are 10 miles to Rock Island State Park for swimming, hiking trails, shopping and exploring. Fog Light is a hidden gem for fine dining. The Landing can provide a home cooked meal and is located 5 miles from the bluff. There is a boat ramp located 3 miles from Biddle Bluff. Fall Creek Falls State Park is located about 45 minutes from the bluff. Guests are 30 minutes to McMinnville and 30 minutes to Sparta for restaurants and shopping. Several Dollar Generals are located within 6-8 miles from the bluff. In the fall, guests can enjoy the Cedar Grove Haunted Trail at the bottom of the bluff.

Sunset View is the 4th campsite on the bluff. Situated at the end of the road past campsite 3, guests can relax while overlooking Laurel Creek and Bone Cave to the West. Campsite 4 is marked by signs.

Bluff View

Bluff View is the first campsite on the bluff once you have arrived on the top. It is the first pull off to the right with a sign Campsite 1. Guests have access to the 18 hole disc golf course and nature trail that leads to the other side of the bluff for more stunning views and another pond. Bluff View is located before the Bluff Stand.

Morning Glory

Morning Glory is secluded on the East side of Biddle Bluff. Guests can relax and enjoy overlooking the countryside of Doyle. Camp Clements and the Caney Fork River are seen in winter. The 18 hole disc golf course is located behind Morning Glory.

This is one of those rare hipcamps that stand out from the rest. The 200 acres perched on top of the Cumberland Mountains offered breathtaking views, wildlife, open trails and even a disc golf course too. This isn't for every camper. All-wheel-drive is recommended due to the steep, long, graveled road up the mountain. There are many beautiful private camp spots to choose from and they were all mowed, clean and offered something unique and special. Bring a frisbee or ask the owners if they have a spare disc to use as you walk through their mountain-top disc golf course. You'll love the owls that sing at night. You'll snap more than 50 pictures of the amazing sunset. You'll wake up and think you're having a cup of coffee in heaven.

Absolutely stunning view from “Sunset View” camp! Got there right as the sun was setting and it was breathtaking! Lots of open space to camp!

The host was very welcoming and gave important and clear instructions on how to get the the camp site. Very grateful to have stayed here. The host brought in a ton of gravel to make navigating to the top of the bluff much easier. Grass on the sites were well managed with nice stone firerings in place. Firewood was provided which was honestly a very pleasant surprise. For a holiday weekend we had more privacy than expected. The over look on the bluff made for a spectacular place to watch the sunset followed by some amazing stargazing. Honestly can't recommend the spot anymore. You will enjoy your stay here.
