Cornerstone Ranch is a pristine Ranch of about 500 acres on the Rogue River and against the Pacific Ocean offering too many experiences to count. You can even bring your horse... FYI, Hipcamps map for site locations is not correct. Two go next to the driveway and the other four follow the creek. From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you a few driveways away as that is the property line. Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large red "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. Welcome... The ranch offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet in off season and Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. They have tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about their guests! Would recommend!"

Site 1 is mostly shaded all morning by our 200 year old cypress trees but sunny in the afternoon. They are the most talked about trees on the ranch. It also runs along the driveway so there may be some occasional vehicles going in and out. It is also closer to the main horse pasture so you will hear horses running and nickering from time to time. If your looking for the camping experience but would rather sleep inside here it is. Nestled in the corner of the camp area next to a large shade pine on one side and full sun on the other. Just bring your sleeping bags and a pillow and your here. Your morning view is through the camp area to the front pastures and our well written about cypress trees. It has a large queen sleeping platform and 2 bunk beds. A place to rest and relax on a quiet working ranch. We did add a camping light in the cabin.

This was a great place for us as we camp in a very large tent. It was peaceful, close to town and Bonnie was very responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed hearing the horses and chickens throughout the day. Our dog loved the grassy area in around our site.

Really enjoyed the ranch… mostly because there was only one other camper there! Beautiful ranch setting , bathrooms a ways away from the campsites… but hey a little walk is nice! Easy in and out. the little cabin was perfect for needing a little extra room

Bonnie was exceptional and the property was clean and pleasant. I needed an extra day and Bonnie was very accommodating. She recommended help from another tenant loaned tools and electric to repair a leaf spring and hung close by and helped. Bonnie was above and beyond expectations. Very Grateful

My wife and I really enjoyed camping at Cornerstone Ranch. It was a great location not far from town and extremely quiet. It was also nice hearing the horses. Very peaceful stay. Highly recommend.

Our family enjoyed our 4 nights here at Cornerstone Ranch. Host was very welcoming and very passionate in sharing the love of horses. The animals were enjoyable to share the property with. A zoom by from the ranch dogs and the neighs from the horses were a nice reminder we were on the ranch. Perfect for the self sustainable campers. Thank you kindly Bonnie & Chris.

We had a wonderful trip up to Gold Beach and stayed the night in the bunk house cabin. Very quiet through the night. Easy to find and easy to access the local restaurants for meals. Thanks for a great place to stop in and rest on our trip.

We love staying at Bonnie & Chris's space! It is always so peaceful, and such a beautiful scenery. My daughter loves watching the horses during the day. It is a short drive to the beach as well. We can't wait to go back!

It was nice. It was quiet, and the stars at night were truly incredible to see. Great location. The site itself is a little exposed and open, but that's just part of the parcel. Would be a great place for a large group gathering.

Bonnie and Chris have an amazing property and are such kind people! We really enjoyed staying among the horses and getting to meet all the farm critters. Just a note that the camp sites are pretty close together if you have reactive dogs or are light sleepers. We'd go back and recommend though!

Southern Oregon beach access

Cornerstone Ranch is a peaceful spot close to the Rogue River and the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast. We had a great view of the timeless Cypress tree border and horse fields. The friendly working ranch dogs came to visit for some ear massages and belly rubs, and we were able to enjoy views of the horses grazing in the paddocks. This base camp spot for our Airstream Basecamp 20x provided access to our favorite beach, Port Orford Lifeboat Station, and Oregon Redwoods Trail.

Escape from noise!

Quiet. We reserved a spot at a state park nearby that was 50 yards from Hwy 101. Came to find out 18 wheelers roll by 24/7. Could not conceive of staying for the rest of our reserved stay and did a search on HipCamp. Cornerstone Ranch came up with high rating and it was just down the road. This was in mid August. Went to the coast to escape 100+ temperatures at home and found it here. 65 to 70 degrees. Perfect. This is a working ranch with horses and cattle but the meadow for the campsites is off the main road and a couple hundred yards away from the horse barns. There are horses in the fields adjacent to the campsites but was surprised, in mid-August, that there were no flies or any other pests. The horses weren't even swishing their tails. When we were there the campsites were in sun from about 9AM to 6PM. Temps were great. Fog burned off by 9AM. Far enough inland to not have to worry much about fog in the summer and close enough to the ocean to not have to worry about heat. This place is gloriously quiet. Highly recommend.

Cornerstones Country Cabin
Bonnie and Chris land was absolutely beautiful and welcoming! We loved being able to wake up and see the horses. They were also amazing on helping us out when our accommodations fell through last minute and us needing to find a place to stay with short notice. There is road construction on one part of the road that goes by their house which threw off Apple Maps but we highly recommend staying here!!!

Cornerstones Country Cabin
Cornerstone Ranch was a perfect place for us to stay on a long motorcycle road trip. Their land is beautiful and the sites were well spaced and very quiet. We appreciated the coffee pot to use in the morning and the directions to the secret swimming hole! The cabin was exactly what we needed in a great location and we would definitely stay here again. This would also be a great place for a larger camping group to choose for a fun camping experience so close to all types of recreational options. We highly recommend Cornerstone Ranch

Cornerstone Ranch was an excellent choice. Our campsite was quiet, clean and we loved the extensive view. The sites are extra large, the location is close to town and the beach. Nice hosts too, we will be back, thank you Bonnie and Chris.
