Cranberry Overlook
Perfect little getaway. Wish I could share more but I just needed a safe quiet place to sleep, I arrived at night and left before the sun rose.
Look forward to to trying this place again when I have more time.

Cranberries and sheep!
We loved how peaceful Nick's property is. The land is beautiful! Each site has Adirondack chairs and a firepit. Our T-Mobile cell service surprisingly worked very well at our site. The cranberry bogs were very interesting and cool to see! The sheep were very inquisitive and cute.

Beautiful working farm settings close to the cute town of Bandon with tons of seafood options and lovely beaches. Dog owners beware; sheep are roaming around on that property so keep them close to you or on a leash at all times to avoid stressing the animals. You are a guest on their pasture so be kind and mindful. : )

Lovely property with privacy
Firstly, I didn’t know Oregon has cranberry bogs and this property was a delightful space with bogs-in-progress, blueberry fields, lots of friendly sheep and a very nice dog ambassador.
Nick is a very responsive host (I had a minor user problem with gate access and then getting to the correct campsite but he was very gracious) and my dog and I thoroughly enjoyed wandering the property.
Directions were straightforward and it was great to have electricity to power the minimal needs of my tiny van.

We were booked and in the campsite within 2 hours which was great. The sheep are friendly and visit in the morning. The campsite was very private. Really cool to see how cranberries are grown. Best of all, the we could hear the ocean.

Very peaceful property. Wildlife abounds! A very chill environment with limited services. However, power is provided and host is great. A farm stay without the fluff. Highly recommend!

What camping dreams are made of!
Nick’s space was incredible! Nothing short of amazing! It was quiet, spacious, clean and a perfect spot to be with our two dogs. Strolling the giant acreage with our dogs and playing ball with them as well as chatting with Nick and his Wwoofer was a definite highlight.

This place hit the spot. Quiet. We were alone on the farm property. The spots are spacious with lots of privacy. The Adirondack chairs, new, nice picnic table, and the fireplace, make it special and help a lot on the convenience factor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Nick’s space is lovely and serene but close enough to town to keep Bandon beaches and trails accessible. The picnic table and adirondack chairs were heavy duty and clean, making for a nice campsite. Kids rode their bikes around the property and loved seeing the sheep. This is a great spot!

The farm was absolutely perfect. Quiet and secluded enough to feel like you got away but not so much that you don't feel safe.
The spaces had a fire pit with adirondack chairs and a picnic table. Nick was friendly and they have the sweetest dog that came by to say hi and hang out for a bit.
I got there when it was dark so was a little nervous about finding the place but follow the directions and signs to Black Moon Ranch, you won't get lost.
I will definitely be back!

Wonderful getaway!
We had a fabulous stay at Black Moon Farm! The farm is beautiful and we enjoyed wandering around with our dog admiring the sheep, owls and awesome trees. Nick stopped by to make sure all was well. We stayed an extra night as it was so peaceful. We will be back! Highly recommend!

AMAZING Stargazing - SUPER quiet!
Beautiful site, lots of privacy. Loved having a power outlet to charge our phones - critical for navigation on our 14-day motorcycle trek. Best stargazing I’ve experienced in years! Site was perfect! Complete with picnic table, campfire ring, and comfy lounge chairs. Hands-off host gave us privacy we wanted - perfect peace and quiet. Great place to relax and unwind after a full day of travel.

Relaxed Seclusion
What a fantastic spot! Totally secluded, with beautiful shade trees and the constant faint sound of the surf. Even if there had been another guest, we still would have felt like we were on our own private preserve. The wife even took an outdoor shower! We walked the entire property each day, and the location was perfect for exploratory day trips to see the coastline. Our dog had never seen sheep before, so the daily visits from the herd added to the adventure!
We filled our water tank at the barn on the way into the site, and with the the well-placed electrical hookup, fire pit, and provided adirondak chairs, we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
We never saw Nick, which was just fine!

What a beautiful place! The campsites are in an open field with a nice size firepit, picnic table, and adirondack chairs. My site was right in front of one of the cranberry bogs. It was a peaceful place with the sound of the ocean and sheep roaming in the distance. The host was friendly and communication was fast and easy. I only saw him briefly right when I arrived. Perfect location to explore the most beautiful stretch of the coast!

Quiet Campfire Nights
Several areas to set up on Nick’s property with a fire ring, Adirondack chairs, composting toilet, picnic table and cooler of drinking water that are first come, first serve. Nick stopped by to say hi, drop off firewood and welcome us to tour the property. Very quiet and delightful to enjoy a campfire at night. We rode our bikes down the gravel road that transitioned to asphalt we came in the next morning: trees covered in moss shading the path, fences dotted with birdhouses and cranberry bogs.

Bullfrog heaven
Beautiful, quiet spacious spot on the farm. We were surrounded by ponds filled with bullfrogs and other pond life. My kids didn’t need to go anywhere else! Nick was a great host dropping us off firewood and fresh water on request

Excellent place to stay! Sheep!
We had a fantastic time. The property is excellent and lives up to the expectations. They were very prepared with picnic tables, trash cans, fire pit and chairs. You can hear the ocean at night. And you also get to hear the sheep bounce around and call each other. Great place to stay!!

Camping with the family
What an awesome experience. Nick is an excellent host and so friendly. Our kids were so excited to play with Bella the farm dog and nick was more than nice about it and they got to for hours. He also let us watch him sheer the sheep. It was a clean campsite with an amazing view of the stars at night. I would definitely come back and stay again. Nick is a shining example of a awesome host. 🤙🏽

This was our second visit to Black Moon Farms. We love it! It's a remarkably beautiful place. The campsites are spacious and private. It's wonderful to spend time in such a healthy, thriving environment. Nick was friendly and happy to answer our questions about his farming practices.
Campsite had Adirondack chairs, fire pit, picnic table and lovely views of open fields trees and ponds. It's also interesting to observe the different berries that are growing and of course the charming sheep.
