The tents are pretty cool. I had the place to myself for my 3 day stay and it was very nice. The AC in the tent worked well, and kept me cool all night. I never met the host, as she was in a quarantine, but the communication was there. Cell signal in the area on Verizon was not enough to make a call or check emails, but I was able to text my family. If you come when I did, know that it is hot, and humid. The cabin stayed hot all the time, so I didn’t spend any more time than necessary in it. Long enough for the 5 minute shower, then get out of it. The door was hard to open, but Em says they are updating it as they get time. The shower is very small, but works. Toilet also works. Hope to stay again next year to see what they’ve done with the cabin.
I did not use the bed in the tent as I didn’t have the right size bedding. I have a cot and mattress that I love, so I used that. If you are looking for 5 star accommodation, this isn’t it. However, if you want to see the entire universe in the night sky, love to listen to the bugs sing, and not die from trying to rest in a hot tent, this is a great place. Motorcycle specific: Do not come in to the camp spot from 56 unless you really like dirt road. You get 6 miles of it from the 56. I have a heavy cruiser with trailer and showed up late at night so that sucked. Going into the entrance was still dirt, but well packed and I only got a little loose in one spot.
