We had the opportunity to camp at The Dairy Venue, and what an unforgettable experience! If you’re looking for breathtaking views, this is the place. You’re surrounded by beautiful scenery while still being close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer.
The real highlight, though, was our host, Delayne. He was incredibly welcoming and checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. He even gave our kiddos the grand tour, and days later they’re still talking about his amazing collection of old-school cars! Add in all the history behind the property, and it made the experience even more special.
We also had the pleasure of meeting his sister and brother-in-law, and by the end of our stay, it felt like we’d known them for years. That’s the kind of hospitality you just don’t find everywhere.The property offers several great camping spots to choose from, beautiful trails to explore, and a rock barn that came in clutch when Mother Nature decided to throw us a surprise mini hurricane! Even with the storm, the kids had an absolute blast, and honestly, watching them make memories was just as much fun for us. This wasn’t just a camping trip it felt like visiting old friends in one of the most beautiful places around. We left with muddy shoes, happy hearts, and stories we’ll be telling for a long time. Cannot recommend this site enough. Not only is the site beautiful and peaceful but the host and his family are truly amazing. My kids loved watching the cows, catching lightning bugs, and swimming in the creek. Everyone close by was extremely nice and our family really enjoyed talking with the host and his family. Will definitely book again!

A nice relaxing spot close to alot of hiking which was exactly what we were looking for! Delayne was so kind, and made sure we had electricity to plug in some lights and charge phones if we needed it.The portapotty was clean and a close walk from the site.

Dairy Farm Overlook
There were 2 distinct areas - one an open grassy field, and the other tucked back along a creek. We spent the day in the grassy area, and spent the night by the creek. There were hiking opportunities as well as a swimming hole. Delayne was helpful and passionate about his land.

What a gem, so close to downtown Asheville. Beautiful, seriously stunning 360 views. Beautiful level grassy campsite with fire pit and table + chairs. Kind host greeted us on arrival. Heaven.

Spent Memorial Day weekend here. Host was very accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Miles of hiking and off road trails, gorgeous sunsets, creek fishing, and ruby mining. An amazing place today!

Delayne was a fantastic host and ensured we had everything we needed for our two nights camping. Additionally - the property was beautiful and we were able to explore all it had to offer. I highly recommend and would love to return, we had a great time!

If you're looking for an adventure - look no further!!
Delayne's property was so awesome. The main site is large and has a covered picnic area and firepit. Along with that there is a ton of space to spread out. You have the option to backcountry camp or find your own spot among the mowed areas. I wish I had a week here to hike back into the woods and just explore. But because I didn't have all that time - I took an RTV tour instead!
Delayne's tour is probably the coolest thing I've done at a Hipcamp. You can opt for as much adrenaline as you want but you'll also get very cool history of the property, education about local flora and fauna, and last but not least - you get to pan for your own gems!!! The property is home to a stream that produces several gems but coolest of all - rubies! This was hands down my favorite part. I highly recommend adding that on!

Stop looking!!! This place is AMAZING and the owners are so incredibly wonderful and accommodating. The property is heaven on earth!!! So many camp sights to choose from and endless trails and even a waterfall!!!! We’ll definitely be back with a bigger group!! I’ll never stay at a campground again.
