Booked this cabin last minute and it turned out to be a good time. It was a great place to disconnect. The wifi was in and out at times but that’s expected when camping so we didn’t mind. Rose was great! She was very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed it as well as our pups. Would definitely come again.

Rustic Wood Cabins
Cold spring lodge was perfect for our group. I wanted to do the usual camping activities like hiking, walking along the creek, and a campfire. I was able to do all these things but still be comfortable in a cabin with everything I needed. They also had a good size pool.
Shawn is the manager of the lodge, I believe and he was very helpful before I got there and after I got there. He was there on-site so you know you can reach him if anything does happen to go wrong.
I would definitely visit cold spring lodge again.

Rustic Wood Cabins is in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. All the amenities you could need are at your disposal. They just put in a beautiful concrete pool that would be perfect for jumping into after a long day of hiking any one of the trails in the area. I could also see booking a cabin for a weekend as a home base while hiking during the day. The inside of the cabins are roomy, furnished, and cozy. I also highly recommend the Phoenicia Diner for a nearby place to find delicious food. It's not even in the same class as your average diner! It was raining nearly the whole time I was staying in the Cabin, and I was able to catch up on some work on my laptop using the wifi. The next day, I hiked Mount Tremper. It was very wet, but gorgeous! The view at the top shows a 360 panoramic of many of the Catskill peaks. Kaaterskill Falls is another spot I would recommend for a beautiful nearby destination. If you aren't up for the hike up to the waterfall, there's a gravel path from a parking area near the top of the waterfall that leads to a viewing platform of the waterfall. Both are worth your time!
