We love having chill rock climbers, hikers and families on our farm/wedding venue. It's not a campground! It's just a super cool place to have some privacy and a camp fire and be really close to the best hiking and climbing, and swimming holes and farmers markets and road biking around.Horse farm / Wedding venue super close to Gunx, Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, Lipman Park (Mt biking) Great for rock climbers, families, hikers, horse folks.Sites are private with fire pits. It is $25/ person per night!Strict cancellation policy so if not sure, just book for 1 person to guaranty a space and settle up upon arrival when you know your actual plans and numbers ?So, we do weddings on some summer /fall weekends. You camp in a totally different part of the property and are no where near the wedding activity at all. Occasionally, the music is audible. We do our best to let the wedding folks have their fun without irritating neighbors and campers, but feel free to check in with us before booking.

It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private.
As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping.
Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

We have hot water showers and heated bathrooms in the Owlwood. Use our hand-drawn map to find your way around the farm.
Please drive extremely slowly while on the farm road (7.2 mph), there are kids and critters everywhere, and your car will thank you! Also, we encourage everyone to drive as little as possible while on the farm; why drive when you can walk and enjoy the land?
If you want to sleep in a car, van, truck, or RV, you must contact us ahead of your arrival so we can tell you where to car camp. No cars are allowed in Red Fox Meadow! Also, if the meadow seems too wet to camp in, give us a shout! There are other areas to camp that are drier in the wet moments, just not as private.

Then we let a fellow farmer use it to graze his cattle.
Now our children has taking it over and are raising beef cattle on the property.
Our campsite lies on the beautiful two and a half century old LeFevre family farmstead with rich history and stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountain ridge. The property is on a 40-acre old apple orchard that is super private and filled with dramatic views and spectacular sunsets. Wake up in your tent to the sounds of birds chirping, roasters crowing and cows just close enough but just far enough way.

Welcome to Roots and Culture! We are a small, becoming site for Afroecology, located on ancestral and unceded Munsee Lenape land, now called Marlborough. We offer camping to guests who attend our pick-your-own days, wellness workshops, and community organizing events. We have tents, sleeping bags, and other gear available for rent and several group campsites available for tent camping. We have several gardens that produce fruits and vegetables May through November and are happy to offer garden tours and plant-based meals to guests by request. We always need help, so if you are willing to participate in a project during your stay, please indicate in your reservation. From weeding and turning compost, to planting trees and harvesting garlic, there are always a number of ways to add your energy to the farm. There is also a creek/swimming hole to enjoy on warmer days, especially after working in one of the gardens. There is a campfire space that all guests share and guests are allowed small private fires when the fire ban is not in effect.
We do not currently provide bathroom facilities. We ask guests to use a modest compost toilet.
Nearby are the Falcon (wonderful music venue), Marlborough Nature Trail, Marlborough Farm Trail, brewing companies and wineries, orchards, U-Picks, parks on the Hudson River, and 15 minutes to the many other hiking trails in the area.

Enjoyed our stay, Steve was very responsive and welcoming and the site was well kept. Nice fire pit and nice toilet- a little far from the site. Quite tucked away site- didn’t even hear the people at the other site. Can hear some coyotes at night but they are far- and lots of birds. Will stay again. 👍🏽. Thanks Steve.

Outstanding fall weekend trip, well maintained property. Ideal location for car/ tent camping amongst fields of wild flowers and horses in the background. Includes fire pits for nights under the stars. Wally is a great host and easy to communicate with. Will be back again!

We saw a toad, a million grasshoppers, and an up-close great blue heron, in addition to the small flocks of geese, the raptors, and the goldfinches feasting on seed heads. The multi-use path just off farm property was easy, and took us right into New Paltz. We enjoyed driving to hikes. It was lovely to have a flush toilet and hot and cold water. If I went back, I'd bring a small portable table.

Everything was clear upon arrival. Was excited fl see a rail trail super close to the property. Campsite 1 was located to a nice pond. Cool working farm but nothing too loud or intrusive you can tell theyve been doing this for a long time! Highly recommend..

We had a great time camping on Wrights Farm. The view from the Ridgeview site was beautiful, and we all enjoyed seeing the parachutes dropping by the ridge throughout the day. We had great weather and never left the farm, between apple picking, the fully stocked farm stand and the brewery for entertainment, we were spoiled. The site itself was moved grass and big enough for our large 10-person tent. Great vibes throughout - both the farm and Gardiner. Hope to be back soon.

We love camping on Adele's farm! The campsites are amazing. Cleanest outhouses I've ever seen! Very private spots and a wonderful ambience. There is a little bit of a walk from the car to the camp spot so I would recommend bringing a wagon. There is a wagon for you to use on the property but it's helpful to have another one. The walk is worth the camp spot. This is the second time we've been there and we will go back.

Great site right next Wallkill Valley rail trail. I was travelling by bike so it was perfect for my journey. The shower in the Bathhouse was such a nice treat in the morning. Would definitely recommend this spot - also the burrito at the Rail Trail cafe next door was delicious.

The Pros: We had a lovely stay at the Hill Top site! The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with stunning views. Our site was spacious, mostly flat, and equipped with a picnic table and large fire ring. Having a clean porta-potty nearby was also very convenient. The onsite market and brewery are great additions, although we didn't get a chance to visit them this time.
The Cons: Finding the Hill Top site was challenging. The site sign faces the opposite direction from where guests arrive via the market, making it easy to miss. Thankfully, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating and personally escorted us to our site when we asked for help.
Unfortunately, it seemed we weren't the only ones confused by the signage. Another group had mistakenly set up at our site before we arrived but relocated once we clarified the mix-up. Later that evening, a different couple arrived after dark and spent the night in their car on our site, presumably because they, too, had trouble finding their designated spot.
This was particularly unsettling, as we had booked what we understood to be the entire site for our group of eight and hadn't anticipated sharing it with strangers.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful property and helpful hosts. However, clearer signage and better site identification would go a long way toward preventing confusion and ensuring guests have the privacy they expect.
