This property is a hidden gem! So quiet and private from the outside world. The guys are FANTASTIC hosts! I can’t rave enough about them. We spent most of the time laying in the beautiful cool creek which was just the BEST! Luxe toilet trailer on-site Solar power charging station close by Fresh water creek at the base of the camp site Friendly cows and horses in surrounding paddocks Friendly neighbour that bought us some sticks for the fire All round a quiet peaceful nature drenched stay! I think we’ve found ourselves a regular camp spot! Thanks guys we’ll be back :)

This place was great, right beside a creek which was great for kids but close enough to town for us to hit the pub for dinner (this was a stopover on a long journey) Greg was a fantastic host, welcomed us with his daughter and even took the kids down the creek so we could set up! Beautiful, clean surrounds. Would stay again!

Perfect night for a stop over . Just off the freeway, we spent the night at Greg’s. Peaceful, and beautiful. Plenty of options where to park our 22 ft caravan. Will definitely stop there again. Greg was friendly and showed us around. The toilet was clean and a great facility to have.

Absolutely beautiful place! Plenty of space, private and quiet. Little creek running close by, open fires allowed, pets allowed. Close to shopping. Coast not far away. Greg is very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend this camp!

A good spot to take a break

Attentive hosts, easy to access from the Highway, well organized site with multiple travelers each having a private aspect. Situated on a small flowing river with private swimming hole. Very nice portable bathroom was a bonus. Highly recommended as a spot to break the trip when travelling up and down the coast.

Peaceful and easily accessible.

We loved our stay, Greg was super helpful in making sure we got the right spot for us amongst his multiple sites. We had 3 dogs with us and we had the perfect spot for easy access in and out for our day trips hiking and exploring the near by coastline. It was the perfect base camp for us to enjoy the area while still being peaceful and not hectic so we could just settle the dogs in for the night and relax. For a busy time of the year to be traveling it was honestly very peaceful and relaxing, lovely green grass, great amenities that were kept very clean and the sites were well shaded and protected by a mix of established trees. We would most definitely come stay again if in the area

Trees, a creek and wildlife

Greg welcomed us on arrival, provided insights into the property and its unique wildlife (and secluded creek) and had reserved a terrific camping spot reserved for our two Landcruiser Troopcarriers. The property has easy access on and off the motorway (4minutes) yet seems far from everywhere and safe. The toilet facility is a stand-out feature.

The host was really nice however it’s quite over priced for what you get considering there’s no shower or drinking water. Unfortunately we went when it was very wet meaning we also had to deal with leeches, however I’m sure in drier conditions it would be better.

Not your average campsite dunny!

Myrtle Ridge Farm was a great place to stay. Greg was a wonderful host, he really thinks about the campers needs, with helpful tips of lots of local spots and conscious of the different experiences each camper group is seeking. The bathrooms were impeccable always clean and well stocked, not your average campsite dunny! We took our dog, swam in the creek, met new friends, hung up hammocks and relaxed. Would strongly recommend.

We loved our stay and had a great time chatting to Greg. He was very helpful and had some good tips for the area. The bathrooms were excellent and the site itself is in a very convenient location. Its close to the M1, which you can hear at night.

My friends and I loved camping at Myrtle Ridge farm. Greg was a fantastic host going above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The creek was perfect on those hot days to just sit and relax in. We were planning on staying 2 nights but ending up staying 5. Will definitely be back. Thank you Greg!!

Can’t Wait To Come Back!

Myrtle Ridge property was beautiful, easy to locate and offered an escape from the city which was exactly what we needed. Our host, Greg, was extremely hospitable and friendly. He went above and beyond for us - cooking a fish we had caught earlier that day and even sharing his leftover Christmas dessert, absolutely outstanding! The toilet facilities were superior and clean with running water and lighting. The keg converted into a fire pit was a welcomed addition to the quiet property. We will definitely be back soon!!

Nice small campground with 6 large spots. Very clean and convenient bathroom and water tank to clean dishes. Tons of wood around to make fire. 20 mins from the beach. Only minus: you can hear a bit the motorway from the campground. It doesn't bother for the sleep but feel lile civilisation is not too far away

Greg's land is what you need to go away and have a wonderful camping time, very spacious and peaceful, Greg is very kind and helpful so do yourself a favor and go to camp in his land 🤙
