Welcome to Wattle Valley Farm! Nestled on 100 stunning acres along the iconic Wollombi Brook, our property is a haven for native wildlife. During your stay, you might spot wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goannas, kookaburras, or black cockatoos—nature’s most charming neighbors! Explore our property on walking trails that lead to local aboriginal cave art and a scenic river walk, perfect for reconnecting with the great outdoors. Located in the heart of the Wollombi Valley and Hunter Valley wine region, Wattle Valley Farm is your ideal base for adventure. The historic Wollombi village, with its vibrant cafes and famous tavern, is just five minutes away, while the Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a picturesque 30–40-minute drive. Discover nature, wine, and relaxation—all in one unforgettable escape!

We just ask that you read rules specific to pets (#7-10), and respect our property and your fellow campers. Child Rates: Kids 3 and under camp free; new child rates apply for ages 4–12. Why Visit Us? • Private Brook Access: Enjoy 1.2km of Wollombi Brook, featuring shallow beach areas for kids, deep swimming (>6ft) and plenty of fishing spots. Just a 5-minute walk from campsites. • Bushwalking Trails: Explore on-site tracks ranging from easy strolls to challenging hikes, including a cave walk with local Aboriginal art. • Family-Friendly: Open spaces for games, bike riding, and picnics. • Amenities: Hot showers and flushing toilets available. • Privacy: Limited bookings ensure a peaceful environment. • Campfires: Relax by your campfire (local restrictions apply). Firewood available—message us for details. • Stargazing: Unspoiled rural skies are perfect for star-filled nights. • Occasional Noise: Proximity to a wedding venue may bring weekend noise but rarely disrupts the peace. • Leave No Trace: No garbage service—please take your rubbish with you. This is a special event site for guests wishing to book exclusive access to our property. All interested guests must reach out to hosts to discuss potential dates and event requirement prior to submitting a booking request *NOTE: no caravan access into property, cars (2WD and 4WD) or small camper trailers only (6.5m length is our recommended trailer limit, due to potential difficulties navigating the tricky driveway over the water)* **Unfortunately there are no pets allowed at this campsite** 2x Cabins and 1x Cottage are also available on site to rent please send us a message for more information. Children aged 3 or under camp for free, and child rates have now been introduced for those aged 4-12. Wattle Valley Farm is a 100 acre property, bounded by the iconic Wollombi Brook, which many native wildlife call home. We offer a number of campsites for small or large groups, with many sites well-shaded and away from other campers. What makes our property unique: - Private 1.2km brook access with deeper areas (>6ft) perfect for swimming and fishing, and shallow beach areas more suitable for the kids. There is no vehicle access to the brook, and only a short 5min walk from many of the campsites. - A number of on-site bushwalking tracks ranging from 5 minutes to an hour, including the cave walk with local Aboriginal art, the river loop and the more challenging fire trail walk - Family-friendly with plenty of space for ball games, bike riding and picnics - Full bathroom facilities with hot showers and flushing toilets, catering for both ladies and gents - Booking numbers limited to ensure privacy and no overcrowding - Finish each night by your own campfire (pending local restrictions). Firewood can be purchased on site (subject to availbility). Send us a message for more info. - Our rural setting is far from any city lights and perfect for stargazing on a clear night - We are neighbours with a wedding venue, so some areas of our property can be noisy on busy weekends. It can disrupt the peace, but rarely will it become unbearable. - Unfortunately we do not benefit from a garbage service in our area, so please come prepared to take your rubbish with you. Wattle Valley Farm is located in the heart of the Wollombi Valley and the Hunter Valley wine region, making it an ideal base while you explore everything the region has to offer. The historic village of Wollombi is only five minutes up the road, and has a lively cafe scene, unique experiences and the famous Wollombi Tavern home of "Dr Jurds Jungle Juice". Meanwhile, the popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 30-40 minute drive along the beautiful, meandering country roads.

Acacia Cottage is a recently refurbished modern country cabin on the doorstep of the Hunter Valley wine region, which makes this an ideal base from which to explore everything this region has to offer. The cottage is an oversized studio with comfortable modern amenities, designed by our resident architect. It features a king-sized bed, dining table with chairs, air conditioning, private bathroom and a small kitchen with a fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, cooktop, microwave, cutlery/crockery and tea/coffee supplied. The cabin has a large veranda with picnic table overlooking the idyllic grounds of Wattle Valley Farm. Clean linens, towels and individual soaps/shampoos provided. The cottage is situated on Wattle Valley Farm adjacent to our living quarters and a short walk to the iconic Wollombi Brook. During your stay, you might even come across some of our friendly native residents like wombats, kangaroos, playpus, echidnas, goannas, kookaburras, sugar gliders and black cockatoos.
