Our family has called Taos County home for many years, and it’s a place that continues to inspire us every day. To us, San Cristobal is the hidden gem of Taos County—where fiery sunsets paint the sky and the stars shine brighter than anywhere else. Peace and quiet reign here, broken only by the cheerful songs of morning birds and the distant howls of coyotes under the moonlight. With several acres of open land, there’s plenty of space to roam, explore, and truly stretch out. We’re close enough to town for convenience, yet far enough to enjoy the serenity of star-filled nights without interruption. We truly love our little community—and we’d be delighted to share its magic with you. So, when you’re ready to unwind and reconnect with nature, come visit us in San Cristobal—you might just fall in love with it too.This is a tiny home. It is about 240 square feet in total and includes a fully functional kitchen and bathroom. You are nestled in the trees for privacy, even though there are other renters on the property. The TH is super warm and cozy in the winter. There is not a place to wash your laundry. Single pod coffee maker, powdered creamer, sugar and coffee provided. Tiny Home Adventure

Wonderful stay! The tiny home is cute, clean, and well stocked. Such a treat to have a full bathroom and shower in such a small space! Great view of the stars at night because it’s in a pretty rural area. Feels fairly private because you are in a little group of trees, but there are other houses/tiny houses very close by. Would definitely stay there again! Good access to Taos and surrounding wilderness areas for hiking.

Relaxing studio in the country

Tiny Home Adventure

Great tiny studio with all the amenities you need! We stayed 2 nights for an early summit up Wheeler Peak. The trailhead is only 35 mins from the property. Its quiet and in a beautiful location making it easy to relax. Shower was hot with good water pressure.

What a gem!!

Boxcar Livin’ the Good Life!!!

What a great place to stay! Original, clean, cozy, and friendly, this place is a gem- and a short drive to the mountain! Watching stars at night and waking up to beautiful mountains out the window, made this place a wonderful vacation getaway. I can’t wait to come back!
