Kathy and her husband were the sweetest hosts and very accommodating, even though I booked last minute. I wish I had gotten to spend more time with them. They brought me coffee and muffins in the morning and even let me stay an extra night! These folks really care about their guests and it shows.
Also, this is a gorgeous spot. It was pretty cold at night but Nebraska gets that way in the fall, so bring a blanket!

Site 2 - Butte View Memory Lane Campsite
Beautiful views, good communication, easy access to two State parks. Train noise was occasional (Monday morning more) but not bothersome. Easy to park our 19’ rig. Would return.

Kathy and her husband were so nice and welcoming, even offered for us to stay in their camper during a storm if we needed! However, the campsite didn't seem to match the photos posted. It would probably be better for RV camping, as we had to pitch our tent in between 2 RVs. The view behind their house was beautiful, but we were anticipating being out in a large open space based on the photos provided. Great hospitality, but be prepared that you will be camping in their backyard!

Butte View Memory Lane Campsite
She had a nice area of n the corner of her large yard yet you that faced open pastures. It was very lovely and peaceful. Her road is very lovely but if you think you have went too far, you probably have! So close to Fort Robinson and some great hikes!

Drove up and greeted by Kathy and her husband Jade. Couldn’t have started any better. We got to choose one of two sites with great views of the surrounding grasslands. Their kitty Socks was a hoot. Very quiet nights and stars galore. We learned about helper locomotives that push the occasional trains that go by in the town. Very private and Fort Robinson is worth the visit. We will be back.

Fantastic communication from start to finish!
Very accommodating in every way! Quiet and beautiful location! I am on a 22 state motorcycle ride and this night spent sleeping under the Nebraska stars was such a blessing!! Exactly what I needed after riding 540 miles today!!
