Property is on 5 acres that used to be part of the neighboring farm. It is located south of Columbia, just a mile from the old Pierpont General Store and less than 2 miles from Rockbridge Memorial State Park.
The property has a large garage which now houses an office and storage, and has a convenient circle drive for entry/exit. There is a large concrete pad for parking. The surrounding land is about half cleared yard space lined by large trees, and the other half has been left as natural meadow space.
It is quiet, private, and serene! You can park your RV or auto on the flat concrete pad, or use the gravel circle drive as a pull-through. Tent camping is allowed on the north side (by the bowling ball sculpture!) or behind the building on the large, flat lawn areas. The property has a large garage on site, but it is only used March through December on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday’s from 9-5, so you will otherwise have total privacy and quiet. (IF your booking intersects with business hours, I will let you know since we will need a portion of the concrete pad for parking.)

We loved camping here for Mizzou's homecoming. Close enough to enjoy all the activities but secluded enough to enjoy some peace and quiet when we needed it. Our dogs loved having all the space and we even got to see deer on the property. The directions and tips from the host were all very clear and helpful for our stay. 10/10 would stay here again.

Private, Peaceful, Quiet.
Tent
This place was very quiet, peaceful, and about 10-15 minutes from town. Perfect.
Melissa was wonderful- very communicative and gracious.
I would give this campsite an award for the biggest surprise. I didn’t know what to think from the listing. A garage?
Well it was just the right balance between accessibility and privacy.
Thank you.
