Only 2 sites on property for a very secluded camping stay. Incredible views for the ultimate riverside experience. Walk in access to the river for fishing, swimming or floating. BBQ pit and picnic table at each site. Common areas available for additional fun, food, and relaxation during your stay. Due to the close proximity to the water, public restrooms are not available. Cedar Mere Riverside is a very secluded camping experience with only 2 RV/Camping sites. Both overlook the magnificent Big Piney River just 2O minutes from Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo. Fish, swim, float, or just sit and watch the water run. Each site has its own picnic table and barbeque grill, as well as free access to other common areas on the property. This additional space comes in very handy for your day guests, or just to spread out. Check out our website, cedarmereriverside.com for more pictures and descriptions. Cedar Mere Riverside is located right off of Hartford Road, a seriously backwoods Ozark gravel road. So best be a good driver. 25 foot limit on RV/Campers. Our Hobbit Hollow site includes water and electric hookups. Crawdaddy Creek is more basic with just electric, although there are common outdoor sink and shower accommodations. We are too close to the water to provide bathroom amenities there. Guests will need to be self contained on the Crawdaddy Creek, so please, take your waste and leave no trace! Although Cedar Mere feels very remote, access to town for Walmart, supplies, additional lodging space, gas, catering etc. are 10 minutes or so up the road.

Large area facing the Big Piney River, able to be rented for birthday parties, graduations, celebration of life, anniversaries, holidays and so much more! Three large picnic tables, grills, double sinks with running water in season, with Big Piney river access. All while on a rock terrain. Beautiful views of nature and wildlife! This event space is not for camping and is a daily rate! Park by the cabin, there are two sets of stairs to access the event space. You can check in at 8:00a.m. and must be checked out by 10:00p.m., please ignore the listing check in and check out times.

Just what I was looking for

I was in search of solitude and a river bank and that’s exactly what I found at Cedarmere. 100% would recommend if you’re looking for a spot with few people, a beautiful view, and great hospitality. I will certainly be booking here again when the world gets too loud and I need a place to getaway.

The fireplace and water access were great! Directions were easy to follow and left cation easy to find. Excellent communication from the host prior to the trip as well.

This spot is absolute perfection. It's a gorgeous, secluded, yet very convenient location with St Robert, MO only 10-15 minutes away. We wanted something that was directly on the river, private, and had good fishing/swimming/floating spots nearby. It checked all of the boxes and more! Not to mention Mary is the nicest, most respectful, and accommodating host you could ask for. I seriously doubt we could have found a better spot on the Big Piney than Cedar Mere. This place is a paradise!

Cedar Mere Riverside; Hobbit Hollow

Staying at Cedar Mere Riverside felt like stepping into a little fairytale. We chose the Hobbit Hollow site, and it truly lived up to its name — quiet, tucked away, and wonderfully secluded. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stumbled upon a secret hideaway meant just for us. The sounds of the river and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to unwind and enjoy the simple beauty of nature. Our host, Mary was incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed without ever disturbing the sense of seclusion. It was the perfect balance of comfort, magic, and solitude — an experience we’ll treasure and can’t wait to return to.

We had a lovely time and very private. Our goal was to sit in the water, relax and do a lot of nothing. We succeeded! We do plan to go back another time when we have a bit more time and the heat index is lower than 102 degrees!

A GEM by the river!

We LoVeD this spot! Mary was very accommodating and we are so grateful that she shares this beautiful space, right next to the Big Piney river! Our site was level with charming details such a fancy grill, outdoor shower, outdoor sink, floaties,... and of course electric and water right there. And all of that just off I44! We will for sure be back!
