We loved our time at the Flipping RV! Plus I had no regrets for the extra treat calories I brought because we worked them off going up and down the stairs!
Baxter, my elder dog, got to swim for the second time in his 13 years, which was my number one goal! For future guests, there is a short rocky walk-out or you can use the ladder on the platform or jump off the dock, to get in the water. There’s really no “shore.” We enjoyed the inflatable kayak.
Late at night a neighbor across the bay said “what’s your name???” Slowly. It was hilarious. He also repeated it in the morning. We thought he was doing the Tony/Ezekiel meme but when we said Tony, he didn’t reply. Ha!
For other dog- guests, there are two neighbor dogs (chain link fence) and they were super chill and didn’t make any noise or have much interaction with my dog. There are off-leash dogs along the road if you go for a walk. Some will bark at you, the stranger! Friendly tho.
We got to enjoy the RV during a big thunderstorm and it was charming. I also made good use of the cabin kitchen even using an included slow cooker (with liners provided!) to make a chuck roast.
AC is a BEAST and the fridge, freezer worked well. Appreciated the little extras like sun block and bug spray and tons of little touch button lights. Nicole was super fast to reply to a few questions.
It rained quite a bit but hardly any bugs. No ticks, but dog didn’t get to go in the woods. We did see lightning bugs but no stars. Next time!
