Picturesque, peaceful, and quiet, our private crop farm is nestled in the well-loved river town of Red Wing, Minnesota. Choose from two private RV sites, each located in a separate area of the farm for a secluded camping experience. Site 1: A designated RV or camper pad overlooking our hay field, walnut grove, and rolling countryside. Includes electric and water hookups (no septic or wastewater hookup). No pets. Site 2: A secluded grass site tucked into a beautiful walnut grove. No hookups, so your RV or camper must be fully self-contained. No pets. Neither site can see the other, ensuring a peaceful stay. We live on-site and have dogs that stay with us and are kept quiet. Quiet hours are from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Red Wing is known for its historic downtown, unique shops, candy stores, brewery, Pottery Place antiques, and the St. James Hotel with its shops, spa, and restaurants. Enjoy local museums, the Anderson Center, Hay Creek trails and creek, the Cannon Valley Trail with bike and kayak rentals, marinas, parks, playgrounds, and a water park. Visit the famous Red Wing Shoes flagship store, home to the world's largest boot, or explore scenic overlooks and river views throughout the area. Seasonal events include art festivals, car shows, live music at the bandshell, and riverboat visits. Scenic drives along the Mississippi River Valley lead to charming nearby towns, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, photography, and sightseeing. For local event schedules, visit the Red Wing Chamber of Commerce. If you're looking for a quiet countryside retreat away from crowded campgrounds, our private farm offers a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy nature. Please note that a small historic family cemetery is located next to our home and is off-limits to guests, along with our private living areas and farm equipment. Game, trail, and security cameras are in use on the property.

Private, mostly shaded, single RV or Camper site within one of our pretty walnut groves in a secluded setting of our farm. (Not in sight of our Site 1. It is 2 of 2 limited options on our private farm). Usually protected from most of the hot summer sun by grand overhead tree canopies. Available late spring through early fall. (Not available over the 4th of July as we’re hosting a family event). Your RV or Camper must be fully self sufficient with working bathroom, generator etc. as there are no hook ups in this off grid area. No power, septic, water or garbage. Leave no trace behind please. No formal driveway, you will back in, off a road, across a fairly flat mowed area to a designated camping site within trees. 4WD required as rain, wet, dew may require more than 2WD. Red Wing is a fantastic area for outdoor enthusiasts with numerous walking, biking and hiking trails nearby, Cannon Valley Trail, as well as Hay Creek area where you can wade in the creek to cool off and splash with delight. Great river town with fun shops, great restaurants, arts and entertainment festivals throughout the summer season. Check in with the Red Wing Chamber of Commerce for details. Home of the famed Red Wing Boots where their store has the worlds largest boot (great photo opp) and a in store history museum. Pottery place antiques, St. James Hotel (shops, spa and restaurants), marine museum, marinas, parks, kids play grounds, water park, Barn Bluff, Anderson Center for the Arts with sculpture garden, golf courses, city tours of historic places, paddle boat tours stop in town, beautiful river roads to nearby quaint river towns. Lots of opportunities for fun in any public direction. No dogs, no pets. We have dogs that are quiet and will stay near us. This is a great setting for a quiet get away. Only the designated RV or Camper allowed. No additional guests, no parties. Quiet from 9 pm - 8 am. Check in from 2 pm - 8 pm by appointment. No check ins after dark as there are no lights in this area and must back in which requires light to get to correctly. Check out is at 11 am. 3 day maximum stay. No long term option. Avoid the chaos of public campgrounds and escape into the oasis of the farm countryside.

Escape the RV park chaos. Dedicated, summer into early fall, private, peaceful RV or Camper, gravel parking pad site. Max 40’. Includes water hookup (bring your own drinking water) and electric hookup, NO septic. NO waste water. Guests RV or Camper must be fully self contained. Guests must leave no waste nor trace behind. Maximum 3 night stay. (Not available over 4th of July, hosting our family). No additional guests to arrive or stay. This 1 of 2 sites, is on our private (crop) farm. Behind this Premier Site 1 RV pad is a large forested hill. The sunrise view to the E and S is panoramic of farm fields and hilly countryside. Great star gazing on a clear night. (The 2 of 2 separate walnut grove site is on a different piece of this property out of sight). Please see full description on our profile. Quiet 9 pm - 8 am. Frequently see wild turkey, pheasants, deer, coyotes etc crossing our land and bald eagles flying overhead sometimes. NO pets. We live onsite with our dogs that will stay near us and are quiet. Small, safely contained campfires OK only on the designated gravel RV pad permitted when burning bans are not in place, not dry conditions, not windy as you’re right against our woodlands (owner agent will inform if OK status through text or site). You will need to provide your own portable fire pit and wood. You will be 100% responsible for fire containment. No fireworks, or similar noisemakers. No hunting. Escape the crowds, noise, chaos at RV parks and enjoy the peace, views, beauty of this private pretty setting just minutes from many great Red Wing and river towns adventures. Please note there is a small, historic, family cemetery garden right next to our house. This area, our home main yard, our equipment and personal items are off limits. There are preexisting trail cams, hunting cams & security cameras on this property. Nice place with room for a class c camper. No utilities as stated, but good for self contained. Good communication from the owners. Would stay again.
