Relax in a hammock by the lake, gather around the fire pit, or unwind on the spacious deck overlooking the water. Grill your favorite meal using the charcoal grill and cast-iron pan, then enjoy it at the picnic table. Take a swim from the floating dock, explore the lake on one of two kayaks or the paddleboard, or fish for bluegill with the provided fishing poles. Two public playgrounds are also located on the lake, making it a great destination for families. This is a friendly, down-to-earth lakeside neighborhood with a peaceful atmosphere. While it's not completely secluded, it's generally quiet. You'll have neighbors on the left, about standard distance away, no one to the right, and other homes around the lake, including a few large Airbnbs, so you may hear families or children enjoying the water during the day. Nearby attractions include: Michigan's Adventure (20 minutes) Lewis Farms (about 9 minutes) Double JJ Resort (about 7 minutes) To Lake Michigan Benona Township Park (15 minutes) Amenities include a warm-water camping shower, portable sink, mini fridge, microwave, electricity, life jackets, fishing poles, bench, and an RV electric hookup. For everyone's safety, please fully extinguish campfires before leaving them unattended. Remember to bring bug spray! Mosquitos can get bad in some spots. Also bring portable water to drink.You’ll have access to all the amenities! There’s only one site, so read the property for more description.

This was a decent spot. There was no address on the shed like the listing says so i wasn't totally sure i was in the right spot but i camped anyway. The view of the lake is nice. It's pretty close to the neighbor though. The ground is very uneven if you have a camper or van.

Quiet family weekend on the lake

Cute little parcel on the water, close by Silver lake dunes, some cute tourist stops, and lake Michigan. Quiet and calm, clean water with nice amenities. Our kids had a blast running around and playing. One of the adults went out on the kayak and caught and released a few fish. We were happy we brought multiple kinds of bug protection. Had a great relaxing weekend at a cute and simple site.

A solid choice in the area

A quiet spot not far off the Lake Michigan coast, centrally located and a fair price for those of us with camper vans who don’t need a hookup, don’t want to be on top of our neighbors in a state campground and want some peace and quiet (on a nice small lake; lots of soothing birdsong in the AM). But the pics don’t show the house right next door and the bugs were annoying in the trees. Pro-tip: spend time on the dock enjoying the evening water where the dragonflies keep the bugs at bay!

Great spot! Site is well maintained and has thoughtful touches. We loved our stay. The lake is beautiful and relaxing and we had fun with the kayaks and paddle board. We brought our dogs and they had lots of fun swimming. The neighbors also have dogs in a fenced area nearby the deck and dog. They did bark a bit at ours, but it wasn’t excessive.
