When your plan a falls thru come stay here at plan b campground. This is the only beachfront private property campsite on the island. Park right next to your tent. No worries about having to leave your car out of sight. This spot is behind a locked gate that you have a key for no curfew come and go as you like. Most choose not to go anywhere they like it right here. I've heard from more people that stayed elsewhere on the island and they say they wish they came here first. Oceanfront island style getaway with mango, banana and coconut trees in the yard. Hear the ocean while you fall asleep. restroom, hot shower with changing room, fresh water, 110v electricity for phone or laptop charging no plug for vans to run a/c or fridge, washing machine available for $10 per load, beachfront cabana with lounge chairs and hammock. An 8-man tent with 2 rooms available or bring your camper/vancar.*($50 tent rental fee for the two room tent that includes air mattresses setup and tear down)Gated property with your host Kawika onsite for any of your needs.

Beach front camp

Yay!

Had the whole back yard and strip of private beach to ourself! David was very accommodating and even brought some fresh mangos to us from his mango tree. He had a picnic table, kitchenware, lights, beach seating, a shower, bathroom, and games all as described. There was even good wifi! We were impressed with this location and would recommend it if you’d like to camp with the sound of the ocean in your background :)

The camp itself was nice. We enjoyed the place. The host had issues. He charged us $4.50 PER HOUR for air conditioning and an extra $125 because we had 5 people which he knew when we made reservation. We had requested to come a day early if it was available. He said it was. He made us pay $300 CASH. $175 for the extra night and $125 for the extra person! He ran none of it through Hipcamp! Then we asked to extend our stay and rent another night and he said yes. We told him to charge our card. He never said he couldnt and we assumed he did. Next day we got up, packed up our vehicle with 10 large suitcases and 5 people and left about 9 or 930 to go to north shore before our flight left. It took us at least a half hour to load up. We get a text accusing us of sneaking out and the cheating him out of the last night's rent and $90 extra for air conditioner. Not only did he message both myself and my husband nasty messages which i have saved! We told him he could run our card through Hipcamp and he said he couldnt and again wanted cash. Which we didnt have. We told him we would meet him with a check.He contacted my daughter on Facebook messenger and told her we left and cheated him out of his money!! How he got her contact info i dont know but that was overboard! We thought he charged our card. Said he couldn't take a card yet a card was taken for our reservation and DEMANDED that we meet him with CASH on our way to airport. This guy got scarey psycho. I have EVERYTHING documented!

If looking for beach front camping, this is the spot..quiet, safe and spacious. Fire on the beach, surf and swim right in front, didn't need much else, but David was helpful if needed.
