The campsite is a peaceful retreat, offering plenty of space and privacy for campers, with hosts Casey and Jessica frequently praised for their welcoming nature and quick responses. It's an ideal spot for both family outings and group gatherings, with amenities like clean porta-potties, fire pits, and even some camping gear available at the base camp. The area is perfect for star gazing, outdoor games, and even some educational workshops, making it a versatile choice for various types of campers. However, a few visitors noted the occasional lapse in detailed communication and maintenance, but overall, the site's charm and the hosts' hospitality leave a lasting positive impression.
Great spot for an easy night of camping. Casey was super responsive and welcoming, site had everything I was expecting. Felt nice and secluded without being too far out there. Would camp again!
Casey & Jessica’s spot was just as described! Site 1 is nicely shaded and provided plenty of room for our truck & trailer. Jessica drove by to introduce herself as they live close and made sure we didn’t need anything. I would recommend Georgia Bushcraft to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway.
Love this campsite. You can pull right into it. You can hang hammocks, put up tents, car camp… whatever is your pleasure. Clean, big fire pit too. I don’t have kids but there is a fun forest playground nearby too. Great place for an overnight or to attend one of the survival workshops.
We had a great camping trip at Bushcraft! This was my kid's first camping experience, and it was awesome! The play area at Adventure Camp was perfect to keep them occupied during the day. We had plenty of privacy and the site was well cared for
I enjoyed the large, quiet wooded lot. The other sites were ‘out of sight’ and I enjoyed the peaceful setting. The open field nearby was perfect for star gazing~
Staying at George Bushcraft for an extra night before and an extra night after attending a class with Jacks Genega is the perfect way to bookend the experience! The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained. I always look forward to my education and mental reset while I’m there.
Great campsite and well cared for. My only suggestion is they read messages fully. I asked 3-4 questions and got a single word reply. So communicate was not great, but I’d definitely stay again. Very accessible and comfortable campsite.
Georgia Bushcraft is a sweet spot for getting off grid and relaxing! The field is peaceful and the wildlife, tree, and plant diversity in the woods is interesting and abundant. I learned about this place by taking classes with Wildcard Wilderness Survival, which I HIGHLY recommend! I will be back to G.B. as often as possible to reset my mental batteries and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Casey and Jessica's place was great. It is very spacious, secluded, and peaceful. The porta-john was great to have, and the base camp had some camping gear that came in handy. Our group of 12 guys and 4 dogs thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.
My wife and I enjoyed tent camping. The fire pit and picnic table was especially nice. There were other campers there but it got dark it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We got to see some beautiful stars and relax.
Casey’s family farm was a beautiful backdrop to any camping trip. Very peaceful and serene. My family really enjoyed base camp and we will definitely book in the future:)
Our family of 5 loved being at base camp. The area was set up for a great experience with plenty of places to pitch your tent (even our huge family tent). The port-o-potties were clean and the showers looked nice. When I messaged Casey and Jessica with a question, I got a quick response. Bonus points for the compass navigation course - my kids loved it!
We loved the base camp- it was perfect for our group of 3 adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs!
Casey and Jessica were super accommodating and great hosts- we can’t wait to come back!
Terrific site, plenty of space, easy to find, no poison ivy at campsite like others we’ve camped at where it was everywhere. The grass was cut so we could enjoy it, great view of sunset. Casey and Jessica checked in via HipCamp during a thunderstorm and offered shelter if we needed it, that was much appreciated. Loved it, if you’re looking for an easy getaway that is local, this one is great!
What a wonderful place to just chill out and relax. And take our 3yo. Grandson on his first overnight in the woods. Definitely won't be the last. Lots of wild life, we saw deer, rabbits, toads and more...
We will definitely be back to base camp and bring more friends with us for sure 😃
Casey and Jessica's campsites were amazing. With so much land to explore, the kids and dogs had a blast! The heated outdoor showers were wonderful at the end of the day. Hosts were incredibly nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves out that way.
Arrived during a very rainy night. Did not get to experience the land, but will definitely try to come back when it it drier and warmer. Host were excellent in responding quickly. Thanks for all of your help with directions!
