Sandy's Land offers a warm and welcoming camping experience, perfect for families seeking a break from screens and a connection with nature. Campers frequently highlight the friendly hosts, Sandy and Steven, who go out of their way to accommodate guests, including arranging unique activities like buggy rides and farm tours. The presence of friendly farm animals adds a unique charm, making it a hit with both kids and adults. However, some reviews mention the site being more primitive and costly than expected, and there are mixed feelings about the surcharge for pets.

We loved camping out in Sandy’s Land. Our campsite Leroy’s lounge comfortably fit my husband, myself and our 6 children ranging from ages 6-15yrs old. We had the option for AC but didn’t take it there was plenty of ventilation and it rained every night so the temp wasn’t too bad. The kids loved feeding the animals, loved the two farm dogs, and had so many activities to do outside such as play in pool, archery, baseball, yard Jenga, badminton, etc. Additionally our hosts Steve and Sandy were super friendly and went out of their way to make this experience unique for us and our kids. They invited us to see their sister Farms horse show which was such a treat for both our oldest and youngest who are horse enthusiasts. My husband and I just enjoyed the peacefulness of their farm, the hosts hospitality, the beautiful starlight, and seeing our kids engage with one another and their neighbors w/out any blue screen for 3 days :)

Great experience for the family. The kids learned a lot about animals. We learned about homesteading. There is so much for kids to d, which helps for a relaxing time for parents. Very nice people there as well.

The hosts were very flexible in accommodating our after dark arrival. The site was described as primitive, but was the most undeveloped site we have stayed at and the most expensive, with an additional surcharge for our dog.

I’m so sorry you were disappointed in the site. Due to the time you came in being REALLY late we put you somewhere closer to the main homestead area near the animals and bathhouse. I should’ve let you drive down to primitive and give you the option.
