The site is private and secure. There are only a few sites on the property so it ended up just being us and our friends camping. We never saw Sandra or Joe but didn’t need to either as I’ve stayed here before and everything is pretty straightforward. The mosquitos were bad but nothing compared to how they were in the Everglades. I guess that’s just part of visiting that area at the end of June.

4th time staying here. Thought of staying somewhere different, but couldn’t find a better option. We roll in and hit Roberts fruit stand as they open 9am, head down keys. Worked well 4 out of 4 times.
It was okay
Our site was fine and easy to back into. We stayed for one night while traveling to Curry Hammock State Park. The turn onto the road was very uneven, and the access road itself was quite rough with large potholes. While this is no reflection on the hosts, travelers should be aware that low-clearance rigs may have difficulty. We had no contact with the host, so we can’t comment on that aspect. The site was private and very quiet.
