A 6th generation 160 acre working farm, with a beautiful view of the Colorado front range. Minutes away from multiple municipalities. Our camping sites are located in a quite area near a water storage 1 acre pond. Great for an evening stroll or sit back and enjoy the sounds and sights of Colorado birds and wildlife. Please note 2026: due to the drought there is no water in the pond and no open fires allowed.

I was so happy to have found this great location close to home. For me, this was truly a little staycation! You’re surrounded by nature while still being close to the cute town of Lafayette, with lots of restaurants and shopping options nearby. Bonnie was an amazing host—very friendly, accommodating, and incredibly responsive. She answered my messages super quickly and was always there if I needed anything. A true 5-star host! I absolutely loved my spot. I had a picnic bench and beautiful mountain views. The spot is right next to the common area, but I was the only one there during my stay. The common area has a BBQ, another picnic bench, and a firepit. Of course, because of the drought, fires unfortunately weren’t allowed. The lake was also empty due to the drought, which was a little disappointing, but therefore we didn't have any mosquitoes. 😜 I really wish more farms would open up their land for camping. What a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the area! There was just one thing that we struggled with: my dog is absolutely terrified of hot-air balloons, and unfortunately, they were out every morning. 😬 But definitely a five star spot and host. Beautiful farm homestead

The hosts, the camp site, the backstory and the homey feel of this property has been the standout of my camping trip. Very blessed to have met these folks. The campsite is next to a pasture where horses and cattle roam and graze, a large shaded commons area for gathering or cooking kept things comfortable even in the summer heat. Absolutely beautiful land surrounding you with a view overlooking the flatirons and 14ers rising westward. Would definitely stay here again and support these hardworking farmers. Thanks Bonnie :)

Bonnie was a wonderful host! She took the time to come over and share the history of the property, which made our stay even more enjoyable. She was incredibly accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The campsite was level, easy to find, and extremely peaceful and quiet. We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this site to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Great site and an even better host!

This was the perfect location for me to stay while visiting a friend in Thornton. I enjoyed the quiet and darkness at night. During the day it was awfully hot with minimal shade. Bonnie came out to meet me and we had a very nice chat. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

This was a great Basecamp for us while visiting family and a friend in boulder. The sky was Soo expansive and definitely our best wide angle mountain view from the flatlands. Bonnie was also so sweet. Really appreciated her sharing with us about the history of the land and she recommended some great things in town. We stayed 3 nights.

Bonnie’s camp was ten minutes from the baseball field where I was working. I called to say the tournament had run long but I was on my way. Bonnie was very accommodating and actually met me there at the camp. It was very peaceful. I woke up to the sun rising and the birds singing.

This was an amazing stay. The farm has 4 generations of family history and was originally homesteaded in the 1800s. I felt so much peace here. It was perfect. We got to see an air battle between eagles and Hawks. We watched prairie dogs and rabbits. We listened to the cows. We saw beaitiful sunsets and sunrise. It was quiet. Practically: well located. Amazing views. Level spots. Super easy access. 5 spots around a central pasture with a communal grill and table. The hosts are some of the kindest people I've met on my 10 month trip. You'll be welcomed from the minute you drive on the property. A definite 10 out of 10. Oh, and get the eggs! The duck eggs were so good!

Peaceful Meadow

Bonnie’s land is set up really well with multiple campsites in a peaceful meadow area. I stayed at Sideline, which was on the end, so I only had one neighbor. My 21' camper was easy to turn around in the meadow and I could pull right up to my spot without any trouble. The Russian olives were in bloom during my stay and smelled amazing. I’d definitely stay again!

Peaceful Stay

A very peaceful getaway so close to Longmont and Boulder. The birding was excellent. A pair of owls serenaded us in the morning and a friendly cow passed through. Bonnie greeted us and gave us all the info we could need. Our reservation was quite complicated and the website kept messing it up. Bonnie was tireless in helping us solve the issues.

Had a peaceful night on Bonnie’s farm. The solitude was relaxing and I felt very safe. Loved hearing the coyotes at night and watching the sun come up in my windshield in the morning. Bonnie was very accommodating and helpful. A very nice place to get a good night’s rest from the road

Such a beautiful place! Serenity was the perfect name. Bonnie was kind enough to come out to make sure we found the place even though we got in late. It was quiet with a lovely view of the mountains. The best part was getting woken up by the cow moo’s in the morning! Haha
