Come experience the beauty of the Sierras nestled amongst the trees in our Treehouse Geodome. Our 550 sq ft, well insulated dome boasts a king bed, queen bed loft, outdoor bathtub with a view, indoor kitchenette and outdoor gas grill. You have seasonal access to our pool and the opportunity to get up close with our barn cats, hens, alpacas and goats. Locally, you can pan for gold, hike to waterfalls, explore the largest cave in CA, wine taste, and visit Big Trees State Park. Other things to note *During winter months, we provide propane for overnight heating (1 tank per day). Any additional tanks needed will be charged $30 per tank and must be requested* We are happy to offer Starlink highspeed internet- please note though: due to tree lines, connectivity is not solid in the dome so we have a comfortable outdoor workplace available by our pool with strong connection. (In colder months, we have a large outdoor heater there)

Luxury Lotus Tent in Sierras Gold Country

Come experience the refreshing beauty of nature amidst the foothills of the Sierras in this family-friendly, permaculture upstart. Stay in your own romantic glam lotus tent- a king-sized bed, hot showers, mini fridge, outdoor kitchen with a stunning mountain view, tree swings, and pool. If desired, we'd love to tell you our story of how we left city life to start our journey towards self-sustaining land management and the opportunity to get up close with our hens, alpacas & multiple animals The space In February 2024 our tent was severely damaged from a blizzard. In May, we bought and installed a brand new tent and have just recently put it back on Airbnb. Please disregard the negative review that our guest left about our tent in February. Unfortunately, he drove up on the day that the tent was destroyed from the blizzard. We now plan on taking down our tent every winter. Our new tent is in perfect condition and we are sure that you will love staying in it. One note: new pictures are incoming- we do not have a clear, stargazer ceiling any longer as it failed the structural integrity of the tent in storms. Other things to note In colder weather, we do have a portable propane heater rated for indoor use. There is also a heated blanket on the bed.

- broken bed - no heater first night - on the second night, a strong smell of gas woke me up while I have two sleeping toddlers - broken shower head that sprays everywhere -first day water was barely like warm- they changed the settings - was told the gentleman rearranged his day the second day to fix the issues but faucet and bed were NOT fixed - heated blanket used the third night but kept shutting off and had to wait periods of time before putting it back on - dome has no insulation between the outside plastic and inside cloth so it feels like you’re sleeping outside - 4th day waking there was a faint smell of gas. We left as fast as we could For transparency: - kitchenette is a bathroom sink so you can’t wash dishes with food particles - No microwave or hot plate - grill outside has one hot plate type of burner but the flame is high so it’ll burn food - 1 burner works on the rest of the grill - not enough hot water for a bath - host admitted his teen boys broke the bed jumping on it. It collapsed when my partner sat on it and he fell to the floor - unable to use hair dryer because it would trip the breaker. I wouldnt have booked this if I knew this info - no lock on the door or key pad.. anyone is free to walk in and out - the compost toilet requires someone enters your space daily to service it - no safety detectors in place: carbon monoxide, fire, etc We expected a glamping experience not this. With the danger and worry of gas, $75 was refunded.

Treehouse Geodome In The Sierras

I absolutely loved staying in the treehouse geodome. The location was easy to find, especially with Joshua's great directions. The host met us apon arrival and gave us a tour. He even gave us some great suggestions of places to explore in the area which we checked out and enjoyed. The hosts were so friendly and responsive. The geodome is on the lower portion of their property but it felt like our own private space. It was all the fun of camping with the conveniences and coziness of home. My kids and I really enjoyed our two night stay and didn't want to leave. It's great doace for families, friends, or a romantic getaway. I highly recommend!

Ok we really enjoyed our time here! I’d say this is definitely glamping vibe we were tryna find. Solid balance between comfort and nature as there was running water and electricity. It was clear that a lot of care and thought had been put into the design. We kept noticing small things that just added to the overall comfort and charm. The bed was super comfortable, and the heated blanket was a lifesaver during our winter stay! There were also little touches like tea and coffee :) There was also a cat that would come around while we were outside and he loved to cuddle lol. The host was so kind and accommodating! He gave us a quick tour when we got there to show us how everything worked and made himself easily reachable in case we needed anything. He also knew all the good spots to visit and gave us solid recommendations for hiking and what to see. We had a great stay. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing glamping experience!
