Peaceful Off-the-Grid Property in the Mountains of the Mojave Desert, Hot Springs and Numerous Hiking and Off-Roading Trails Nearby... Surrounded by 1,000s of Acres of Undeveloped BLM and US Forestry Land, With Endless Views of the San Bernardino Mountains and High Desert Scenery. Bring Your Tent, Trailer, RV or Camp in your Car . Picnic Tables and Fire Pits (grills available). Flushing Toilets, Pits Toilets, Potable Water, and Showers On-Site. Breakfast Lunch Dinner Served on the Weekends *Warning! The hike to the Deep Creek Hot Springs is fairly steep and can be difficult for some people, especially in warm weather, so everyone’s physical fitness needs to be considered when deciding to hike to the hot springs with pets, children, elderly people, or out-of-shape/over-weight people in your group. Even though Deep Creek has never had any known cases of amoeba outbreaks, be advised that the warm waters around hot springs can carry a sometimes fatal amoeba. *Although children are permitted at most sites on the property (children are not permitted at the cabin or spring pool sites), we do not recommend bringing them due to occasional nudity that may be seen in the area and the degree of difficulty for the hike. In order to be prepared with the correct gear to make the hike to the hot springs and know the USFS rules that apply to the area, please educate yourself before coming by visiting the USFS website page for the Deep Creek area. Know before you go! The Deep Creek Hot Springs Campground is part of the historic Bowen Ranch property that was homesteaded in 1924 and has been the camping and parking area for the Deep Creek Hot Springs for nearly a century. The Bowen Ranch property is under new ownership as of 2020. See our webpage deepcreekhotspringscampground.com for more information and detailed driving directions to our property.

This secluded cabin has a private loft on the 3rd level with 2 comfy queen beds. The mid-level sports a cozy kitchen and living room area combo, with a 13' high wrap around deck that was built on beams that were milled from a solid single pinyon tree that died on the property and can be viewed from the lowest level of the cabin in the shaded stone base. Large yard with a fire pit, a gas BBQ grill, outdoor seating and plenty of space for a group of friends to set up camp at this unique site in the mountains of the Mojave Desert that has its very own private pool made of natural stone. The refreshing pool sits beside a pergola shade structure and patio area with plenty of privacy. Bathroom and shower nearby and shared with only 1 other campsite. Hot Spring Oasis Site with Caveroom

93% (7)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 200 · Vehicles under 33 ft
Located far from the city lights on a 160 acre homestead Ranch, nature abounds on this property where the Mojave desert meets the San Bernardino mountains. A beautiful riparian area and natural spring located on the property make this place a true oasis in the desert, and combined with it's very own private hot spring pools, paradise is in the making. Next to the spring pool is a small rustic "cave cabin" that was built into the rocky hillside, with seating areas carved into the rock, The cave cabin makes a great dressing room, hang-out room, or retreat from the elements, as it can be heated up with it's rustic woodstove or just left cool and shady to escape from the sun. Not much room to sleep in the cave, but a hammock and platform helps make it happen for at least 2 people! Others can sleep in a 10x10 canvas tent set up at the back of the site. Also provided is plenty of outdoor tables and chairs on the patio decks, a fire pit(firewood is for sale on site for $10) , a gas BBQ (propane included), an outdoor shower, private bathroom building with indoor shower and flushing toilets. Private parking area located 200 feet away from site, and can accommodate 12-15 cars, rvs, trailers, etc

Camping at this site offers a mix of privacy and adventure with plenty of space between campsites and friendly hosts. The journey to the camp can be challenging, with dirt roads, but the directions provided are mostly reliable. Visitors enjoy the hot springs, although the hike can be strenuous, especially for beginners. A few reviews mention some maintenance issues, such as non-working showers and disputes with hosts, but overall, the atmosphere is welcoming and the natural beauty is a highlight.
