I stayed here for 3 nights while I was in town photographing an elopement and loved it!! Such a peaceful little spot to come back to after long days out shooting. The property is beautiful & the site is very private! I was working out of my van while I was there too, and Starlink worked great at the site, plenty of open sky. Cell service was okay in spots (Verizon). Felt super safe & really enjoyed hanging out! I’d definitely stay again if I’m back in the area!

Great place to stay, enjoyed the private site, beautiful night sky, and how close it was to the coast. Thank you!

The campsite is a beautiful private spot tucked into the hills outside Point Arena. It's worth knowing that you can hear traffic on the nearby road - the site is out of sight from the road but our Friday night included a lot of traffic noise. The noise was a lot better Saturday night so maybe it was just because of the holiday weekend. Shauna & Patrick have made the campsite extremely comfortable, with a picnic table, chairs, optional propane fire, and a very clean portapottie. There are spots for tents, and it was also easy for us to set up our small travel trailer & car-camping set-up. The hosts are lovely people and we found the experience both scenic and relaxing. Mornings were filled with birdsong and you can see the fog rolling out down the canyon from the east side of the campsite. And the night sky star experience is spectacular!

Thanks for staying with us over Labor Day weekend, Kat! Sorry to hear that the cars on Mountain View road were an issue. Labor Day and 4th of July are the busiest weekends of the year in our area, so I'm not surprised there was some traffic noise on that Friday evening, when people were heading over to the coast. Glad to hear that it was better on Saturday. While cars noise can be audible from the road, there are usually not many cars. Thanks for your feedback and happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay!
