Studio Park Place in Washington
Host Bill Dilley says:
Enjoy our private sculpture park! Play and relax on Vashon Island among the trees, open pasture and art. Our spacious, pastoral park is adjacent to a private wetland estuary – home to eagle, blue heron, duck and geese. Song birds abound in spring and summer. Bask in the sun on the east side of our basin on the long summer days. Feel the fog and quiet on a fall day, the crisp cold on a sunny winter afternoon.
Located on Vashon Island, Studio Park Place is near Fisher Pond Park and Preserve – 150 acres with forested trails extending west toward Agren Park and northeast to Cove Road and near Island Center Forest - ten miles of multi-use trails through 440 acres consisting of forested stands, meadows, the Mukai Pond and the Meadowlake wetlands which form the headwaters of Judd Creek. The town of Vashon is nearby with shops, restaurants and local festivities. Visits to Seattle, Tacoma or the Olympic Peninsula are just a ferry ride away.
Studio Park Place has 4 RV spaces on former pasture land for self contained units.
Neighboring land has active pasture.
There are no boating, swimming or fishing activities on site, but the Vashon Park District locations are within easy driving or biking range – including kayaking and paddle boarding through Vashon Adventures.
Due to the drought declaration, campfires, fireworks etc. are not allowed.
Zip code: 98070
