Great view from site number 5. Joannie is a great host. I drove around a bit in my overland rig. Nothing too challenging but fun inclines. Not really made for RVs. There are some big mulch piles and a few tire dumps on the place, but easy enough to avoid the tire dumps. The view out west from site 5, looking over the valley, we’re fantastic. Descriptions were accurate. There are no services at the sites, which I was fine with, just be prepared.

This campsite is so BEAUTIFUL! Perfect for a small group of friends or family to gather around the campfire and relax. The host was so helpful, bringing us fire during a wet evening. Our dogs were so happy, the canpsite is extremly private and give off that backcountry feel. I am still experiencing a campers high. The fire pit technology was also really cool, i was able to start the fire easily in the morning for cofee. This is a Really beautiful campsite! I will most definatly be visiting again!

This is such a beautiful spot with some great views of the sunrise and sunset . Joannie is a fantastic host. He will give you a tour of the property and make sure that you are placed in the camp spot that best suits your needs. His pups are super friendly and great hosts themselves. I really enjoyed my stay and I’ll definitely be back.

One of my favorite campsites on the site. Very large perfect for large groups. Long with tree breaks to allow for campers to have their own space even if sharing the site

I had an awesome experience here. It’s the perfect balance of having a private/scenic campsite with the option of being social. Joannie was the highlight. He’s super friendly, accommodating, and gave me a fun tour of the property. I’m hoping to come back soon!

Joannie and his pups are super friendly and welcoming! This is a perfect spot to let your dog(s) explore a ton of land off-leash in a stress-free environment. The campsite was very private and well-prepared upon arrival. I will definitely be returning!

Will be coming again, we had an absolute great time staying here. We were able to let our dogs off a leash and run around, firewood was present when we arrived and had a really great walk with Joannie around the whole property. I highly recommend!

I can't say enough positive things about Joanie, the camping space and the vision for the future of this property. This is something to be a part of. I love this space! And so does my pup. She is a skittish rescue who felt safe here, and so did I. From the very first message to the checkout, Joanie was extremely attentive, helpful and interactive. This is a stay tailored to your pup(s) needs. I love that! There is a gorgeous view from sunset park. Joanie has a beautiful voice for a campfire serenades. We took a full 1hr hike/tour of the property. Everything was perfect. 11/10 will definitely do again. The journey from Austin was worth every minute. It seems so close, really. We already have plans to return.
Due to the hosts hospitable nature and availability we didn't actually stay at the hidden cedar spot. We definitely will in the future. It is perfect for those pups and peeps with a need to be secluded.
Whether you or your pup has special needs, or you just want to be off the beaten path, or you're searching for community where you didn't expect to find it, this is the place. I look forward to seeing this space and community grow and mature. I hope to see you, your pup and your friends there!

Property had some really nice views of the sunset. Tucked away enough for a peaceful night but close enough to downtown Salado to explore for the day. Definitely enjoyed letting our dogs explore off leash and make friends with the dogs around the property.

We will definitely be back! We arrived late and the host was still accommodating. There is so much left to explore. It's beautiful. The camp sites are nice, secluded, and the views are beautiful.
