Cedar Bloom is a beautiful property and everyone I met there was kind.
However, there were a few things that made our trip feel unsatisfactory.
The main one being that there was somone mowing for almost every day of our trip, right next to our camp site. This loud mowing continued for hours, the latest time was 9PM and woke my sleeping toddler. I understand that they may have needed to do the work, but no one informed me this would be happening and it really disrupted our time there.
I also found it odd that there were no curtains on the hot side of the shower nearest to the river. It’s a small detail, but in the photos I was led to believe there were curtains for privacy.
The toilets and amenities were all far from the camps, which may be due to the time of year/being only allowed to camp past the Aframes and Domes.
I also was disappointed about the fire ban, but understand that wildfires are no joke. I just wish it would have been more obviously posted when booking. That may not be up to the host though.
As beautiful as the property was, I don’t believe I’ll be back due to the noise, lack of privacy, and lack of descriptions.
