Outlaws Jesse James and Belle Starr once hid out in the Robbers Caves, the centerpiece of this Oklahoma State Park! Lake Carlton is a great place for fishing, boating, and swimming. Paddleboat rentals are available for afternoon fun.
Rugged cliffs beckon climbers, and you can rappel down them too! Miles of hiking trails crisscross the park. You can even bring your horse and ride. The park offers a pool to cool off in the summer heat and rents surrey bikes. Bring your ATV and ride in the specially marked area.
Options abound for spending a night at this park. There are RV and tent campsites. RV sites have partial and full hookups available. You can rent a one-bedroom or two-bedroom cabin for all the comforts of home.
