Home to one of the only naturally carbonated springs in the world, Saratoga Springs is appropriately named after the 21 springs bursting forth from beneath this historic town. Not here for the water? Saratoga Springs is also famous for its thoroughbred horse racing. As early as 1822, visitors would flock to this small town to see the races that are still held there to this day. One of the few naturally carbonated springs in the world gave rise to this region's water-tastings.
