The Jubilee Homestead

We had a wonderful time! We brought our brand-new-to-us vintage camper to the hilltop campsite and stayed for two nights. Joel was so helpful with problem solving our electricity situation and Esther brought us fresh eggs in the morning! And when I tell you the joy we had just watching the chickens walk around…I mean, these were happy, well-loved chickens just being their chicken selves and it was awesome! Lovely walking paths, and even the well water straight from the pump was so cold in this hot weather, honestly we didn’t know what to expect doing this for the first time in a new place with a new camper but the whole property is just beautiful and set up well to not have to back in, and just nice to be there, and we felt very welcomed. We didn’t even get to try the outdoor shower yet or have a fire or see stars, we just were there to rest, so we will have to be back to do all that! Thank you for everything Esther and Joel, we do hope to come back again.

This is my second stay and it was just as lovely as the first time. Esther met me with information and some delicious cookies. The farm is beautiful and peaceful. The whole area has really picturesque small farms with signs along the road advertising farm fresh eggs for sale. Esther and Joel have free range chickens that add some country ambience. If you are just stopping over on your way somewhere or making this your destination, it's worth it.

We had such a lovely weekend! Location was great- not too far from home, but still felt like a getaway. The tent was spacious enough for the three of us and loved the cozy lighting. Goats and chickens were a definite highlight!

Wow this farm has so much to offer so peaceful and all the farm animals were so fun to see and interact with. The Hill Top site is so beautiful you see most of the property. They also have bucket golf we played twice it was so much fun. Very clean restroom. If you’re looking to get away and enjoy a farm style camping you would love this location. We will definitely be back.

Relaxed, attentive hosts.

We enjoyed a most lovely and relaxing time at the Jubilee Homestead. The omnipresent wandering chickens joined us as we ate in our rocking chairs and as we enjoyed coffee in the morning sun after the rooster reveille. Our own wandering allowed us to great the goats, the geese, and the neighbor's bovine friends. It was quite perfect for us at this time.

Property was great for littles, animals are very friendly. Kids loved the barn, sandbox, playground, and chickens! Bathroom was clean and enjoyed the natural beauty of the property, definitely will be back!

This was a lovely place to camp! It's quiet with only the sounds of happy farm animals as a backdrop to the scenic views of rolling hills and woods. I was met at the drive with a gift bag that included information, map of the farm, names of the animals and delicious homebaked cookies! After a long, tiring drive, this was a welcome treat! The farm is set up for ease of use, includes an outhouse, outdoor shower, gift shop/lounge area and lots of interactions with the animals if you want. The hosts are great, communicate well and quickly. I plan to stay again if I am in the area.

Peaceful, beautiful farm

I have stayed at Jubilee Homestead a handful of times over 3 years. It’s a beautiful slice of land to bring my friends and my granddaughters to. The animals, the beautiful barn and owners are all great. Esther answers messages within minutes and is so helpful always. She and her husband have written many books and we bought one on this visit. I’ll be coming back here a few times every year. It’s wonderful to bring my city granddaughters out so they can experience this beautiful country life! Picking apples from trees, touching goats and chickens and just playing at the playground, it’s a sweet slice of country life.

Peaceful farm stay with animals 🥰

Esther’s property was so beautiful and relaxing! I loved all the chickens, goats and seeing the neighbors’ cows and horses. Also, one of the barn cats literally climbed up in my lap and cuddled into my neck!! So sweet! The little path around their property is cute and the outhouse was so clean and roomy. The cookies at arrival were delicious and I purchased a book (excited to read) and crochet pig from their little store. It was a quick stay but peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend!

Glamping with grandkids!

My grandkids; ages 8 and 10 and I visited wonderful farm this past weekend for a one nite getaway. We all loved the experience! The kids rollerbladed in the barn, played with the cats and loved seeing the goats and chickens! Our glampung tent was perfect; comfortable bed and fun vibe. We definitely will be back next year! Great getaway

We had a wonderful visit at the Jubilee camp. The place is peaceful, fun and beautiful. Many things to do rain or shine. The animals, love how the owners provide information and names of many. The “poop coop” is the best outhouse alive seen yet. And the owners - greeted us upon arrival. Always answered any questions within an extremely short time and I feel went out of their way to make the visit enjoyable. We do hope to visit again next summer!

Fantastic spot. My young kids loved the jungle gym, barn cat, chickens, mischievous goats, and just about every aspect of the property. Esther and Joel were very responsive and the property was perfect for our RV trip.

What a lovely stay! Esther was always quick to respond and greeted us with cookies and a tour of their farm. Beautiful property with chickens, goats, horses, and cows. Very clean and quiet! Loved their little produce stand as well! Of note, the GPS called the turn off the hwy Tucker Rd but the sign is County Line Rd (I think). Easy detour though. Would def recommend!

Very accommodating host in a chill

Easy going host that was very accommodating. I had a nice corner of the property that overlook horse paddocks. The sunrise in the morning was a great way to start the day. The goats and chickens roamed around the property and would usually spend a hour or so trying to get me to feed them. The goats and chickens both enjoy fresh corn. Esther & Joel had a vegetable stand I was able to purchase some peppers and beets for dinner, they were delicious.

Beautiful & peaceful farm with lots of land for walking & interacting with animals. I bring my grandchild every summer, for 3 years now & we will keep on coming back. The people are friendly and helpful. Nights are very quiet & mornings are punctuated with a zesty rooster- a true farm feeling!

Camping with friends a Goat Pasture

We used our 26' travel trailer and easily fit in the Hill top spot. Such a pleasant and fun location! Lots of chickens, goats and cats for the kids to pet and playground and sandbox. Lots of space. I used the milk room to work one day and that was wonderful.

This is our second time staying at the Jubilee homestead. We will definitely be back. They are so hospitable and generous, but also give you your privacy. They have free range goats, chickens, and cats that are so fun to play with and see in their natural element! Our kids love playing in their barn. I’d definitely suggest camping here! And it’s far enough out, but still close to many things.

The Personal Touch

We biked in to Jubilee Homestead and were met not just by Rick, who warmly welcomed us and helped us settle in but also by a flock of chickens, herd of goats, and a bold cat. They all made us very welcome! We had a great time, I'll be coming back.

Wonderful experience for our first time camper kids, age 3 and 6. Great private space with access to the rest of the property. Kids had a blast checking for eggs, feeding the goats and horses, and exploring the trail. Perfect place to camp with kids.
