This little park is centered around the Keaīwa Heiau—the ruins of a healing temple used by the Hawaiian people. This is one of the only Heiaus (temples) open to the public, so we suggest making sure you don’t miss this historic and sacred spot. Want more? The ‘Aiea Loop Trail meanders through the park and offers views of the Wai’anae Range and the beautiful city of Honolulu. Just a short drive from Waikiki, Keaīwa Heiau is one heck of a getaway in beautiful Oahu whether you’re looking for a day or a week away.
