Fetlock Circle is surrounded by mountains, ridges, and forested slopes with panoramic views. The property is one mile off Teller 1. The driveway is a gentle 200-foot incline leading to the campsite along the east side of the barn. From there, you can see Dome Rock—a massive pink granite monolith—and Pikes Peak. To the north, there are beautiful rock outcroppings; southwest views include Mt. Pisgah and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Mount Crystal rises in the west. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, and the low light pollution makes for incredible stargazing. On the western slope, you’ll find a meditation tree where you’re welcome to sit and reflect. A picnic table is also provided for your use. Evergreen Station, located at the corner of the entrance to Ranch Resorts, offers Wi-Fi, gas, propane, and sundries. What a beautiful spot along the Arkansas River! I stayed over a winter holiday week, so it was pretty quiet but the views were amazing. The hosts were very hospitable and the bathrooms were clean. Getting to walk along the railroad onto BLM land was an added bonus. I would definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to A-Lodge Salida

We had a great experience staying at the A Lodge tent site. The spot felt peaceful, secluded, and safe, especially with a few permanent camper trailers on the property. The location is fantastic, only about 15 minutes from Salida Colorado, making it super convenient for exploring local activities. The amenities building (bathrooms, hot showers, and laundry) was a bit of a walk from our spot, especially on snowy nights or rainy days, so we ended up driving there most of the time. The bathrooms were basic but impressively clean, and the hot showers were a huge plus after a long day out. The host was super nice, he answered the phone immediately when we needed help and was extremely helpful and attentive. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We’d definitely consider coming back!

Seriously the coolest little cabin I’ve ever stayed in! Wood burning stove is amazing and keeps the place super warm. And I couldn’t believe there was a private little ice skating rink just for you in the winter time. Epic trip, highly recommend!

It's too cold to tent camp so this quaint cabin was perfect. Still cooked on camp stove outside but with the benefit of electricity to heat up water in kettle provided. Had a lovely campfire one night but mostly stayed warm with the wood burning stove. We normally bring 10 gallons of water but this had a potable well pump that saved us the trouble. It was a perfectly relaxing atmosphere and stay. The night sky was gorgeous. The hike around the property lovely. The dogs were friendly and charming. Lorie is attentive and helpful. At my questioning she suggested Beckwith Ranch a worthwhile stop. I spent 2 hours there and got a private tour! It was a wonderful stay. Oh, and the the outhouse was positively posh😊

Very clean well maintained campground. It's very near hiway but the creek is strong and loud enough to drown out any traffic. There is only a porta potty available if you are tent or RV camping. But it's clean and maintained. Very nice propane fire pit that is very warm and no need to wood are worth the fee.

What a wonderful visit to the sweetest Cabin imaginable. Hartsell is a darling little town with lots to do within a short drive… Hot Springs, a drive-in, movie theater, great restaurants and outdoor activities. The house was exactly as pictured with wood for the fireplace, a well stocked kitchen, a cozy bed, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and absolutely stunning views. We had an incredible time and would go back in a heartbeat!
