Daniel and Nikki were exceptional hosts and I took full advantage of their add-on breakfast burrito, lunch, dinner and River Kayak trip add -ons. Given the care, quality, and portions that Daniel and Nikki put into their add-ons - I don't think there is a better value around. My campsite had an awesome overlook with antelope scampering through the sagebrush and spectacular sunsets. I really appreciate that they are limiting the number of guests making it such a more pleasant experience. And there was direct-from the outside access to a real bathroom and shower! On my 7,500-mile road trip, they earn top marks for value, experience, and gracious hospitality.

This was an absolutely stunning place to camp, and the hosts were totally welcoming! The view was amazing, the firepit was great, the site was comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. The breakfast burrito was literally the best burrito I’ve ever had. The sunset was absolutely stunning and while the skies were clouded over the night we were there, the stargazing would be splendid on a clear night! Can’t recommend them enough, and if you go, tell Kevin the cat I said “pspspsps”, she’s adorable.

Stunning views, a quiet environment, clean shower/bathroom and super-friendly hosts! After seeing other photos in the app, we realized they fell short of how beautiful this campsite really is. The drive in was filled with antelope and we had horse and bird visitors in the morning. It was very quiet despite being just off of the interstate and there were plenty of dining/recreational options nearby. Don’t miss a detour to Ayer’s Park which is about 15 minutes away - breathtaking!

We loved camping at this spot. The area is very scenic among the trees, rolling hills and wildlife. We observed antelope, deer, and wild turkey. Even though it is close to their home our space felt private. The full hook up was much appreciated. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place to others looking to camp in the area.

My family and I stayed at Daniel’s place traveling from Yellowstone to Black Hills/Badlands on a national parks roadtrip. We’ve stayed many places along the way, but Daniel’s place was the favorite of our middle school girls! We were so grateful for their hospitality. We arrived just in time to enjoy a beautiful sunset while we made dinner and our girls enjoyed snuggling with their cats and playing with neighboring campers’ dogs. Their place is right outside of town- very convenient- but still feels very private! We only with we could have stayed longer! 100% recommend!!

This was my first Hipcamp experience. As a solo traveler I was looking for a safe place to sleep for the night before continuing on my trip (which was to the mechanics). Nicky and Daniel were kind and welcoming. A storm had rolled through moments before I arrived and they were both very accommodating. I was grateful for the opportunity to purchase eggs - I gifted them to friends I stayed with the following night.
