Herb met and accommodated many wonderful guests and had a blast doing it. The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom. The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here. The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank. We definitely hope to stay here again next time we pass through Cody and hopefully for more than one night!

Camp Barlow was perfect! Nice area with plenty of space at each camp spot. Not your ordinary porta potty! Stocked with TP and paper towels and water was a nice surprise. Several deer came around, we heard turkeys in the area and in the early morning hour we were serenaded by a what I assume were coyotes. Felt safe and the view was beautiful.

Directions were very easy to follow and set up of campsites was logical and well spaced apart. We were the only ones there that night. Stayed at site 4. The toilet was a portable unit. Very clean. We got surprised that the water was turned off for the season but our host brought us water from his place which was plentiful. We recommend!

We stayed in the Dry Site Riverfront and really enjoyed our stay. Folks in the front office were very nice. The river behind the sites was peaceful. The bathrooms were nice and clean.

1 night at The Grove

Eric was such a friendly host. There is no designated camping spot on the property so you can pitch your tent wherever works best for you. Eric supplied us with wood and gasoline to have a fire for the evening.
