This is a very scenic property, that is rich with history.
The Virginia Dale Stage Station is about three miles away and the overland trail has several branches going through here. We are also a fifth generation cattle ranch.
We are in Wyoming, on Highway 287 between Fort Collins, CO. and Laramie, Wyoming. We are still building out our property with a
General store, and Western Themed Town coming soon. We have campsites for RV’s or Tents. We have an amazing 1000 acres to have your own hiking, wildlife, birdwatching, adventure. We have great hiking and wildlife viewing, marmots, pronghorn, antelope, deer, elk, and an occasional moose. Birds of every feather gather here so bring your binoculars. Hikes include balancing boulders and rock formations. Wonderful stargazing, our stars are so bright it seems like you can reach up and touch them. We are a working ranch and do have livestock. Don’t mess with the bull!
Firewood, for $7.00 per bag.
The bags make a great trash bag when empty!
Do not bring your own firewood, as we don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds.
Due to the high volume of people coming in separate vehicles, after two vehicles per site, its $10.00 per vehicle extra per night. We have portable outhouses available.

My homestead is located on 4 1/2 acres of pastureland that currently have no animals. You will turn on Powell rd to reach the back portion. The camping spots are located on the back part of the property and along a refurbished shed that includes 1 added 30 amp plug; interior electric, clean well water delivery or hose filling in warmer months as well as a separately fenced area for visiting canines (Please only non-aggressive breeds unless leashed at your camp). My Golden has an invisible fence and is not allowed to visit campers unless permitted. Fires are only permitted and shared on the back patio of my home. Activities for fun on site include corn hole, firepit on lower patio along with a propane weber grill. Only 2-3 mile from Frontier Park and an electric bike ride to downtown to tour the museums, restaurants and shops.
Currently, new to hip camp and refurbishing the house and exterior so The Shed will be a working/congregating space with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and indoor space with a fan so folks can escape their cars/vans. Wi-Fi is also available in the shed and the surrounding camp areas toward the building.
This was my dream come true property and I'm looking forward to sharing it with road warriors like me. Weather is forever changing here and clouds roll by fast leaving the most fabulous rainbows. I just ask that no fires of any kind be set at your site because the field is a fire hazard in the dry plains.

Welcome to Big Sky Country with fabulous sunrises and sunsets everyday. My 35 acres sit at 7500 ft elevation with 360-degree views for miles around, including view of the snow-capped Uintas. No neighbors (unless you count the occasional cattle or sheep as it is open range). Starry skies, red cliffs, sage seas, junipers, howling coyotes: the Wild West at its best. Pull in your RV or pitch a tent.
Lots to see and do in the area. The Piedmont ghost town and kilns are 15 minutes away. The majestic Uinta mountains are 30 minutes to the southeast on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Check out the local bison herd (including its famous white bison) at Bear River State Park in Evanston. While there, walk around the Historic Depot Area and the Union Pacific Roundhouse and Railyards further to the west. The downtown stretch along Main St. is step back in time and the site of our local brewery (Suds). Up the road on I-80 is historic Fort Bridger. Fishing available at local reservoirs and Bear River.

We bought this land and built a 4000sqft barndiminiom to develop a therapeutic ranch, during COVID the vision had to be modified we still work with people at the ranch but in much smaller fashion than planned we are still wanting to privide opportunities for children and families within our community. We also take in rescue animals. We run this ranch as a family and bring in other family members to offer other opportunities. When we can we offer classes such as how to make goat cheese, soap, milk a goat etc...

Book a peaceful and beautiful site on a private creek.
The Redwater Revival Campground joined Hipcamp and was open during the 2020 summer season. Herb met and accommodated many wonderful guests and had a blast doing it.
The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom.
The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here.
The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank.
Please make sure that you stay with us for some very restful mesmerizing sleep along our part of the creek at the Redwater Revival Campground.

The land is so beautiful that this stay is on and the cabin and bed were very comfy. It even stayed cool with the windows open so no a/c wasn’t an issue (and trust me, the days were HOT haha). This was our second time staying here and we will be back!

We camped with friends- it really was perfect for what we were looking for. Plenty of space for more campers than they rent out. Which makes it really nice for the campers! We ended up getting water from one of her neighbors because she wasn’t available at check in time to unhook whatever to supply it even though she said water was available. Yes, it was a bummer as we were expecting this- but I would stay again without a thought. I would just plan to bring in our own water.

We loved camping in our fifth wheel on Michelle’s land. Our host was wonderful. She welcomed us on arrival and was very friendly. Very pet friendly also. The city was having an issue with the power and she checked in with us often to give us updates and make sure everything was ok.
The shed was amazing. It has almost anything you could possibly need from appliances and cookware to games and a tv. We wished we had more time to enjoy everything.
There is plenty of room to park and turn around. Very peaceful and quiet environment yet only minutes from the city.
We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

This cabin was perfect. Not only was it beautifully designed and decorated, there were so many thoughtful details. While there are stairs, there were hand rails and lighting to make them more accessible. The outdoor seating had awning that allowed us to stay outside in the rain, and there was a propane fire pit had we needed it.
The property was striking an had amazing views. It was also close enough to I-80 that it makes for a very convenient stop while traveling.
On top of it all, the hosts were delightful, friendly and helpful.
We can't wait to stay here again.

What a pleasant surprise. We have never booked throughHip Camp before and didn't know what yo expect. The site was secluded, quiet, and had beautiful views. Chas was very accommodating, even met us at the highway exit to guide us in. I was glad we were able to run our generator as I require oxygen.
We would not gave known people were in the cabins as they are out of sight and earshot. Much more pleasant than a crowded campground.
I would highly recommend this host and site.

What a treat to be able to stay at this gorgeous property. I had the “car camping” site (Lee Road) and it was exactly what I wanted. The hosts greeted me upon my arrival and were extremely friendly and accommodating. I love that my site had a private compost toilet and huge shared outdoor shower! The facilities were immaculate and the views were wonderful. Plenty of shade on site and you get a nice breeze throughout the day that comes through. If you’re into birding, I counted at least 10 different species that regularly visited. The only minor downside was some highway noise, but you can’t do much about that. I would bring earplugs if you’re tent camping- just in case. I will certainly be staying here again.

The blue moon cabin was AMAZING, my husband, dog and I spent the night there while road tripping and it exceeded every expectation we had! The land and views were stunning - we saw about 10 shooting stars and the sunset was beautiful. The cabin itself was also incredible - the bed was so comfortable, there were extra blankets, games, tea/coffee, a sitting area with a gas fire pit and patio outside. One of our favorite cabins from our road trip. Truly such a great stay, we will be back!!

The hook-up for my RV was in the pasture beside the house. It was so peaceful, the stars were abundant. Melissa met me. She's friendly, knowledgeable and exudes a sense of welcome. Her property is not far from the Interstate. I would definitely recommend.
