Our property is comprised of 6ac of land on the Wisconsin River...we have a cornfield to the North, a seasonal cabin to our South the river to the East and a road and natural area to the West. We are 1.8mi from downtown Wisconsin Dells. Our property has 4 glamping domes, 4 cabins, perfect for couples and friends to come to the same place and have their own accommodations, 1 cottage with 2 queen beds, a Gathering House (Converted Tavern) social area, that is set up as an intimate and cozy atmosphere (think speakeasy), a 24x24 covered deck and 24x10 patio area. Follow the trail down the hill towards the river and you'll find 225ft of raised walkway through a natural Sandstone canyon that arrives at our private 80ft dock on the riverfront. You'll find excellent walleye, muskie and sturgeon fishing as well as carp and catfish sheep's head and a bounty of other stuff to catch along with scenery that will make you fall in love...
The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property.
We offer a central charcoal grilling location by the Gathering House. We have a fire pit in the space beyond the covered deck and plenty of wood to burn on site. Each glamping dome also has it's own fire pit.
Our goal is to host couples, small groups of friends, family or coworkers and provide a space to disconnect from technology, connect with each other, share some unique experiences and make amazing memories you and your loved one/s, you're closest friends or coworkers will look back on for years to come. Featuring a 150 ft of spectacular waterfront, 80 ft of dock, and 225 ft of raised walkway through the fern and moss filled sandstone canyon. Our recently remodeled 1 bedroom cabins offer a cozy space to reconnect, relax and make lasting memories, while our glamping domes allow you to live in nature.
Our property is comprised of 6ac of land on the Wisconsin River...we have a cornfield to the North, a seasonal cabin to our South the river to the East and a road and natural area to the West. We are 1.8mi from downtown Wisconsin Dells. Our property has 4 glamping domes, 4 cabins, perfect for couples and friends to come to the same place and have their own accommodations, 1 cottage with 2 queen beds, a Gathering House (Converted Tavern) social area, that is set up as an intimate and cozy atmosphere (think speakeasy), a 24x24 covered deck and 24x10 patio area. Follow the trail down the hill towards the river and you'll find 225ft of raised walkway through a natural Sandstone canyon that arrives at our private 80ft dock on the riverfront. You'll find excellent walleye, muskie and sturgeon fishing as well as carp and catfish sheep's head and a bounty of other stuff to catch along with scenery that will make you fall in love...
The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property.
We offer a central charcoal grilling location by the Gathering House. We have a fire pit in the space beyond the covered deck and plenty of wood to burn on site. Each glamping dome also has it's own fire pit.

Lakeside Cozy Camp was exactly as describe, flat, easy to access, and you get the whole acre to yourself.
We tent camped in the back of my pickup, but the ground would have been comfortable too since it’s mostly sand. We had a small fire, walked around the property, and loved being right across from the lake, even walking out on the ice to chat with ice fishermen. Very quiet, private, and pet-friendly, with park bathrooms conveniently across the street, perfect for a simple camping spot in nature.

I stayed at the RV site. Good size for about an 18 foot RV, more length may be pushing the space to its limit. There is water and power at this site. There is a remarkable (Best On HipCamp it seems) outhouse approx 100 yards from the site as well. Nice walking trail, and plenty of star gazing, moon gazing.
Owner has wood for sale on site.
Owner is also a super nice guy, and can accommodate pretty much anything you need.
There is another site more in the woods, primarily for tent (RTT) camping that the owner may advertise for rental later this year (2025). This site is more remote/private, very well maintained, large (approx 50 meters X 30 meters), and should easily fit 3 or 4 tents if your traveling in a group.
There is a remote possibility the owner may open a very primitive, solo tent camping location......... stay tuned.
All sites are accessible by auto/truck, but you could also park in the lot and just hike into the tent camping locations, or drop off your gear and park in the lot to save space at your site.
Overall a great three days / two nights staring at the fire and moon with my dog.

While the weather was rought, our family enjoyed the novelty of glamping on the 'ship'. Our accomodations were warm and cozy despite night temps in the 30's, and we loved playing cards and hanging out in the small galley. It was also a plus to have the Dells nearby for activites during a rainy day.

We had such a wonderful time at Riverside Roost! The campsite right along the river is stunning and the fresh eggs, bread, & jam were delicious. If you are a big critter fan this is the spot for you! Lots of frogs, fish, turtles, crawdads, bugs, etc. as well as the chickens that wander around! Paddling along the water is a treat and the dam, albeit a little noisy, brought a nice cool air to the site. The campsite itself is nestled into the property and I think it’s a great site, though if you want more options for walking trails/exploring I’d utilize the plenty of parks and public sites in the area as well. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Green Lake! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The hosts thought of everything — from a welcoming coffee and snack basket to fire pits already prepped for us. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, walking the peaceful paths, and relaxing under the stars at night. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. A wonderful mix of comfort and nature — we can’t wait to come back!

Charming efficiency stay, this tiny house was a great hub for exploring the Dells and Devil's Lake. We nearly had the whole campground to ourselves in early October. The tiny house had a small fridge, range top and coffee maker, TV/DVD player we didn't use and the queen bed up top was cozy. Outdoor shower and sinks indoors had very limited hot water but the restrooms were very clean and comfortable.

Relaxing and pretty secluded. This was the 2nd time returning and I decided to stay sun-fri. We saw, maybe 2 other people there. Still very very low to no light pollution to do stargazing weather permitting of course. Kelli reached out more than a few times to make sure we were doing ok and if we needed anything and to make sure to let her know if we did. Great hosts. We definitely be back next year.

We enjoyed having the fire pit and chairs (we didn’t find matches but brought our own). The weather didn’t cooperate but the dock and kayaks were really neat and we wish we had stayed an extra day. We thought the grounds and chapel were great and we anticipate coming back again :)

The Old Red Mill Oasis is heaven on earth in Central Wisconsin! The whole property along the Big Plover River has been carefully curated, with gazing benches showcasing meditative views. I loved to listen to the rush of the river at the Red Mill, and walk the manicured trails. My doodle dog Yummy is in absolute bliss on the land! The mushroom hunting was sublime in the prime! Michael is such a gracious host and wants to make your experience a memory to last forever. The kayaking is supreme, with a few different options. It's a treat when the heron leads you back to camp.
