Camp sites also have fire rings with wood available for you to use. Campers are welcome to use any wood that's on the ground near or around your site. Camp sites can be accessed with a high clearance 4 wheel drive vehicle or walk up the hill to your site. With easy access down to the river, by walking or driving, you can cool off in the beautiful Cow Pasture River. Glamping in the Vardo Wagon is another option, with its close proximity to the river and cozy interior. The Gypsy Rose sleeps 2, but can sleep 2 additional guests with a tent. Paddle boards and kayaks are available for free if you paddling near the farm. The cabins are primitive, no electric or water. There are solar lights inside and and out also a propane wall heater for chilly nights. This is comfortable camping in the Beautiful Mountains of WV. There is a shower house with instant hot water and outside spigots for water, a porta potty, a fire-pit for cooking and camp fires at night while star gazing. The property is over 100 acres in Greenbrier county WV. There is a lot of history in this area. There are tons of wildlife on the property as well. We have awesome trails with GREAT Views for hiking or horse back riding should you decide to bring your own equine. Pets are allowed with prior notice (not to be left unattended in the cabins). We have a private dog park that you will have access to on the property. We also offer doggie daycare & boarding here at the farm (prior proof of vaccine is required) should you need our services. We also house horses/ponies/ goats/sheep/geese/ducks & chickens here on the farm. We are located 4 miles from downtown Lewisburg which has wonderful stores, antique shops and restaurants. Also in the area is the Greenbrier River Trail 77 miles long for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Our property was a small family farm for several generations. Our family purchased the property about 18 years ago. Since we are not farmers but love living here, the question became "What would be the best use for the land?" Living in a scenic area and already being in the vacation rental business on some other family property answered the question. We decided to share the beautiful view and seclusion of our area with others. Our goal was to keep the cost of building down so that we could pass on the savings to you so that you would not have to be rich to enjoy our lovely area. This inspired the idea of a glamping cabin. The cabin is actually a repurposed office building that was built about the time this property was purchased by our family. We moved it to the present location and completely remodelled it in 2018 and added the bathroom. For 4 years, guests enjoyed an off-the-grid experience. In 2023, when we began work on the glamping dome (stay tuned--coming soon!!), we decided to add electricity, running water, and a hot tub to the tiny house! We hope you enjoy the cabin (and, soon, the dome) and the stunning view from them as much as we enjoy sharing this beautiful spot with you! Note: The Charming Glamping Cabin is at a totally different property. That property also has a section that used to be farmed. Now a lot of it is forest. We purchased the property around 2000. This cabin was built approx. 10 years later. At that point, the cabin was a tiny economy cabin with a sofa bed. However, it seemed most folks preferred comfort over economy, so in 2020, we added a bump-out to the side of the cabin so there would be room for a queen bed. Guests have loved the improvement. At Sunnyside, I offer yoga classes, nourishing pre-ordered meals, and host gatherings filled with good food, music, and community. Guests are invited to enjoy meals at The Little Cheerful, join a yoga class, or simply slow down and savor the peaceful, intentional atmosphere we've created here. It's a space to reconnect — with yourself, with others, and with the slower, sweeter parts of life. Guests may book a private dinner in the Airstream or enjoy your dinner in the sensory garden. We have 6 buses converted into unique rvs all sitting with small stream views and pond view. Each one with there own unique design. Pond is fish for fun/catch and release stock with bass and blue gill. Nice private shower house. Relax by the campfire in the evenings. Listen to the sounds of nature. The area offers lots of scenery, hiking, atv riding, and fishing.

4 nights at Lucky Otter Camper - Lakeside Nook

This is a perfect location for doing anything in the area. It is tucked away into a little neighborhood but affords plenty of privacy. The site is so perfectly and thoughtfully put together. You can tell that the placement of everything both inside and outside of the camper was deliberate. Arriving on the first day was full of pleasant surprises that I won't spoil here. The site is well-stocked with almost anything you could possibly need. As a result, we really didn't require much from the hostess, Elle, but she made it very clear she was prepared to address any issues that might arise. It is such a charming little site and if we are ever back in in the area, we would not hesitate to stay at the Lucky Otter again.

Weekend Trip to Arete Campground and Hostel

I stayed in the dorm style bed as a solo female traveler and felt completely safe. The property was easy to locate and the hosts were kind, responsive and easy going! Comfortable beds, showers were great, the shared spaces were perfect. I booked a second night before heading back on my road trip, definitely a great spot.

1 night at Blue Bird with Heat/AC!!

Great little space with A/C, running water, flush toilet & electricity. Beds were comfortable with warm blankets & plenty of pillows. The kitchen setup was basic but had everything needed for cooking basic meals, including an outside grill, a two-top propane stove inside and a small fridge. I purchased a dozen eggs and they were excellent! Will look into staying here again if the opportunity comes up.

Had a great time at the mountain top cabin! The host Ed is awesome, and truly cared about us having a great experience. Both my kids caught fish from the ponds on the property. First fish ever caught for my son! Priceless!! Highly recommend and we will be back.

My family and I have stayed in the retreat cabin twice so far. We absolutely love it there. The property is gorgeous, the river adds to the beautiful charm, and the cabin has all of the creature comforts you could want for glamping. 10/10 would recommend. Already planning to come back as soon as we can!

Weekend Trip to Beaverdam Falls

Words can’t express how amazing our trip was. The property is absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Cattails site and had everything we needed. The tent was super comfortable, and the view was stunning. The waterfalls and spring were peaceful and so fun to swim in. We went Memorial Day weekend, and even with every site occupied, we only ran into one other person the whole time. Beau does an incredible job managing the land, giving people the chance to experience it while still preserving the peace and natural beauty of the property. Every employee we came across was kind and welcoming. The swinging bridges throughout the property were such a fun added touch. And the cave was incredible! It definitely has a smell, but after learning it’s because of the rare cave formation, we appreciated it even more!! We were already talking about planning our next trip back before we even left. We will see you next year!💙

Weekend Trip to Beaverdam Falls

What a lovely piece of land. Unique is an understatement. We loved all the bridges, short hiking trails, and the SUPER rare sulphudic cave right on the property. We stayed at "Top of the Rock II" and only have good things to say about the little cabin. You are literally camping at the top of the waterfall, just incredible. Toilet/Bathroom Situation: - there are two pristine portajohns just a 30 second walk away from the site - if you have a more urgent situation, they did outfit the cabin with a bucket toilet (honestly, it was about as classy as a bucket toilet can get) - it was hidden beneath a wooden toilet box with proper liners In the receptacle) Shower Situation: - They have a shared "lounge" in a small trailer where you can access an indoor toilet, running water, and a heated indoor shower. - The shower left a bit to be desired, the shower didn't drain particularly well, but at least the water was hot. Kitchen: - there is a private picnic table outside of the cabin with a wooden cupboard that contains a bunch of cutlery, plates, lighters, and even a butane camp stove

The host is very friendly and quick to offer the use of the clubhouse and kitchen facilities. The campground has a very laid back vibe. We rented the Idaho cabin and it was very comfortable. A floor fan and space heater are provided if you need them. We were there on a Thursday night and it was very quiet.

The stay was absolutely beautiful . It had everything we needed it was my boyfriends first time camping so he was nervous but staying the night here made him change his mind he loved the out doors it was just something quick & simple just to get away for the night . The bus is next to his house but the host didn’t bother us at all . He was on stand by if we needed him . Which i liked for the privacy . We just wanted the wood burning & smiling in each others faces lol . Google Maps doesn’t help you get to the bus but Apple does takes you straight to the bus only thing is we drove in the night we were to literally follow Scott’s directions to keeping left lol we thought we were going in his grass but we over thought it . Lovely stay we will definitely return back thank you .

Love this location. So beautiful. At times I imagined I could see fairies flying around be cause it was so magical. The tents are very comfortable and the added items supplied are very helpful. We used the propane heater which was super helpful since nights did get down to 38 in May. Great communication and helpful directions made for an easy check in and stay. I would recommend this location 10 out of 10! We are already planing on our return !

We had such an amazing stay and can’t recommend this place enough! We stayed in the tent site, and the views were absolutely perfect. The amount of equipment provided was incredible and such a pleasant surprise—everything was so thoughtful and made our stay even more comfortable. The common space was clean, welcoming, and had so much to offer. The property itself is truly beautiful. We loved exploring the waterfall, creek, and cave, and the suspension bridges were such a unique touch. Our kids had the best time and didn’t want to leave. Beau was an outstanding host—so kind, attentive, and thoughtful. He came to check on us during our stay and even offered another on-site option in case we got cold overnight, which meant so much. This place truly feels like a little piece of heaven. We can’t wait to come back!

This place was absolutely beautiful! We had three families (rented two yurts and one of us tent camped). The falls are exactly as pictured and the property is so well maintained and gorgeous. We had everything we needed and Beau was an excellent host! You can tell he really loves the land and sharing it with others - he made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us too. We spent time enjoying the waterfalls, tubing down the little river, hiked on the mountainside, and more. Perfect place to spend time outside with loved ones!!

Beaverdam Falls was amazing. We stayed at the Cattails site just a short walk from the falls. The tent has a beautiful view of the wetland - a great place to relax and birdwatch. The campsite was thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need.
