Philville is 3.85 miles from US 97 on state highway 153. Near Pateros wa., the property is ten acres and includes 3 acres of tent sites, 3 rv hookups and 3 cabin rentals. All sites are riverfront and the adjoining property is a state fishing access and boat launch used by rafters and fishermen. The site is at the very end of the popular "Black canyon" section of the Methow river. Rafting and fishing guides use this property regularly. There is ample space for boat and trailer parking. There is a winery in walking distance that offers a beautiful oudoor tasting experience. Winter opportunities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Nearby the recreational opportunities abound. Christine’s land was perfect for a quiet getaway. It is on a farm, so you do hear animals from a far distance. It was not annoying whatsoever. Plenty of room for larger tents or even multiple tents. The river access was really nice for sitting next to with a cocktail or early morning coffee. The toilet is a little bit of a walk, but I always bring my own.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! The site was spacious and very private, with beautifully maintained grounds and direct access to the river—it truly felt like our own little retreat in nature. The location was also perfect, just a short drive to town yet peaceful and secluded. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was the 2-hour horseback ride—an unforgettable adventure that the entire family loved! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a serene getaway with great amenities and amazing hosts.

Our particular spot was perfect for us. We have a 40' toyhauler and a 25' cab and chassis truck. The spot had enough for that plus our jeep and then some. The views are great. The sound of the river is perfect. The full hook ups are right next to the site.

Just had a great stay at Philville! Stayed in Osprey's Perch that had the best view for morning coffee, plus can't beat full hook-ups with a travel trailer. The walk to the river is easy and there's a great beach and swimming hole. Phil is a very accomodating host, super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and his little puppers are so cute! Definitely will stay again soon!

Gorgeous spot on the Methow River. Brought our dog and didn’t hear a single firework which we loved. Phil is a nice host and we would definitely stay here again. Gravel spot for RV (much more stable with “legos” under feet)with water and electric. Must pack out your garbage. Access to sandy/rocky beach which was lovely to hangout in in our camp chairs while our dog splashed around.

Beautiful private setting near a river on a spacious ranch surrounded by hills and irrigated fields. Tall trees provide shade and bird habitat. River proximity demands bug spray but invites cold plunges or casual wading. Ample property offers interesting walking paths and pasture proximity. Horseback rides were a great option and thoroughly enjoyable even for this equine neophyte. Recommend communicating early to validate check in expectations.

This campsite was a wonderful spot shaded among pine trees only a few steps from the refreshing waters of a near by river. Don was a very kind camp host, and got us all squared away. You definitely have the place to yourself, just you and the wildlife. We had a great experience camping at this spot, and will be back next time we are in the area.

We had an amazing stay on Christine’s property! It is so private and beautiful. The view of the ranch, hills, and river were stunning. We had so much space for our dog to run around and to set up our camp. We highly recommend it and we will be back!
