Monroe has everything you would need including restaurants, shops, hardware stores, pet stores, antique stores, and grocery stores. 3. Sultan is on the way to Stevens Pass ski resort and is much smaller but has a great bakery! Nearby activities include hiking, skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding. All the spots that I would recommend visiting can be found in the Welcome Guide upon your arrival. Important things to know: - Staying in this home means you are staying within nature. Deer are regularly around the property, or can be seen in the woods during your drive up. Please be respectful to them. There has been the occasional bear sighting, so please be aware. There is bear spray in the property, but I have only seen a bear twice and have been able to scare it away with a tap on the window! My space is surrounded by woods and forest, and though I treat the exterior to keep out pests, there are all sorts of creatures great and small, including insects and mice, which unfortunately can be a reality of nature for all the homes up on the hill. Please take into consideration that my home may not be a right fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife, but for others, it can bring enjoyment. Please take a look at my house rules to familiarize yourself with the do's and dont's, especially if you will be using this space for a larger entertainment gathering. I love my home and I am so glad you may choose Pentoria Lodge as a place to retreat. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Guest access There is enough space for 3 cars to park at the top of the driveway and next to the log cabin. Any other cars can fit down by the yoga studio and garage, but please note, the driveway is not for the faint of heart - it is steep! During the winter months you will need a 4-wheel drive to make it to the top of the driveway. When it gets icy, it is not recommend to drive the driveway, but parking at the bottom and walking up through the pasture is what I do to get home! There is an electronic lockbox for your convenience that will let you into the house with a special code that I will email to you once the property is booked and you are confirmed to be arriving. Your GPS may take you a slightly different route. I will email instructions on the easiest way to the lodge. There will also be signs to 'Pentoria Lodge' to follow for easier directions. Other things to note There are deer, squirrels, rabbits, owls, and other critters that may roam the property as the log home is surrounded by forest and is home to many creatures great and small. Some of the tiny ones may get into the house from time to time. Refunds cannot be granted because of a spider, fly, wasp, mouse, or any woodland critter. I strive to keep the property as thoroughly clean as possible with monthly pest control to mitigate the chances of seeing any creatures in the property and appreciate your full understanding should an insect or critter make a small appearance. Brittany's space is a sweet little haven. I have booked this spot a few times for a Winter Solstice celebration and it never disappoints. We love gathering around the big fire pit for hours, sharing in ceremony, music, and reflection, and ending the night with a cozy sleep in the cabin. I happily recommend this spot!

We loved the Cedar River Cabin! Just the right size with all the glamping amenities. Cute, cozy, easy to get to, nestled in a lovely wooded area. Moxie, our cat, enjoyed it too! Beautiful, well thought out, and clean space that had everything one needs to create beautiful memories with friends and families. The whole property is gorgeous with stunning views. The fire pit was so lovely especially on a rainy day, and so nice to have items provided for smores as well. Loads of cards and board games. Would stay here again and recommend 10/10!

This place BLEW ME AWAY! It is SO cute, even more so than the pictures. I wish I had more time and could've stayed longer. Brittany was amazing and proactive in her communication, her instructions and directions were very clear and incredibly helpful. It was a great location, the place was clean and cozy, and had so many little touches that made it feel welcoming and homey. I will absolutely be back, and hopefully soon!

Brittany is so communicative and made herself available to ensure I had everything I needed. The cabin and outdoor area are so cute and decorated to make it feel homey. The cabin is ‘off grid’ but the only thing missing was plumbing so I didn't feel like we were really going without. My pup had the best time! I had no issues leaving him off leash the whole time. Oh man was he livid when he spotted horses trotting by on the nearby bike trail! It might have been the highlight of the trip for him! I’m bummed my schedule didn’t allow for a longer stay. I’ll definitely be back again.

Weekend Trip to The Village at Rainier

We stayed here last summer and loved it just as much! The location is perfect- very quiet and well kept. Rainier can be so challenging in the summer and staying in Ashford gave us an easy, well rested early start. Seriously- we entered the park a little after 7am and the lot at Paradise was almost full. Getting up on the trails with less crowds and before the heat of the day is a game changer. We love the cabin and the hot tub. Stay here— you won’t regret it!

What a PERFECT place this was! Our 3 dogs have never been happier than they were whileexploring the woods & swimming in the river (once they figured out the currents). The cabin is well-built & comfortable. The loft has a double bed; the bunkbed has a double on the bottom and single on top. One piece of advice: the top bunk is a bit difficult to maneuver on the way down. It felt very private even though there is a great long paved biking & walking path above it. I am definitely returning! Loved it!

The Beaver cabin was adorable, clean, simple and just what we needed! My ten year old was delighted by the loft beds, I loved the swing and the hot tub and fire pit made the place far more than just a place to sleep for the night. My family of four (plus dog) slept comfortably in the cabin, which was really more comfortable that we expected. The fire pit was great, and the clearing around the cabin felt very private. We would go again.
