At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life.
Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping.
The Glendale Farm is 1/4 mile walk to and from FinnRiver Farms, where you can enjoy cider, beer, live music, delicious snacks each and every weekend! you can check out their seasonal events.

Brittany's space is a sweet little haven. I have booked this spot a few times for a Winter Solstice celebration and it never disappoints. We love gathering around the big fire pit for hours, sharing in ceremony, music, and reflection, and ending the night with a cozy sleep in the cabin. I happily recommend this spot!

I booked the entire site for my birthday and had a great time! The new covered area over the kitchen is excellent, and was especially nice during rainy weather. Multiple tents to choose from, a nice big fire pit, and multiple toilets for easy access. Timber and Bethany were super accommodating and helpful, will definitely be back out here again!

We loved the Cedar River Cabin! Just the right size with all the glamping amenities. Cute, cozy, easy to get to, nestled in a lovely wooded area. Moxie, our cat, enjoyed it too! Big Bear Cabin exceeded my expectations and I had a great time. It was well equipped for the size of the cabin, well-maintained by the host and very clean. The kitchen has all the amenities to cook a meal. There's cell reception for calls and text but internet is a bit more spotty. Darrington is also only 5 minutes way with a grocery store, a couple restaurants, and coffee shop.

Very nice cabin nestled in such a beautiful area near the river with mountains all around. So nice to have a warm shower, comfy bed, and place to cook after a long hike. Plus only 5 minutes from a cute town! We loved Moe’s in Darrington for great views, food, music, and people. Thanks tor a great stay!

Big Bear cabin at Camp Hideaway was lovely! Our small family really enjoyed the cabin amenities while being able to spend an entire weekend in nature. The bed was comfy, the kitchen well equipped for breakfast, and the grill very clean for lunch/dinner outside, and after dark was cozy, movie time. The hot water in the shower is quick, but the summer weather made that no problem. Our toddler also enjoyed wandering the extensive river trails on the property and the playground next-door as well. Though that river water is chilly! We would come back next year, perhaps with friends camping in the sites nearby for added fun.
