We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake. The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

And had grace for us when we couldn't get checked out in time because we were waiting an hour for our lunch in town.

Weekend Trip to White Pine Flats Ranch
Great little spot - cozy and just what we needed for an overnight near WSU. The owners had everything warmed up for us when we got there, it was so nice to come into a cozy space during the cold month of October. We also got a quick peek at the horses and sheep in the morning which was fun! Thank you for making things cozy.

We absolutely loved camping at Renee's. She is a generous, kind soul. Our van pulled into large clean green grass field, with an equally clean outhouse. It was fenced between her beautiful garden and a sweet horse. Renee is a clear communicator, lives on site and provided a safe place for the night. I would recommend this spot especially to solo females.

I had the camp area to myself, and the Porta potty was the cleanest smelling, and cleanest overall, I ever experienced. It was very quiet albeit started out warm for my one night stay. It cooled down in the hours before dawn and I corrected a few things to make the next evening, in Boise, a bit more comfortable.

Sure, it's place to stay, but it's also an experience! Surrounding by beautiful scenery. Immediately, I was surrounded by miniature ponies, goats, cats, ducks, chickens, cows, etc. Made good friends with the dog. An active farm, but very peaceful and relaxing and calms down at night. And the stars and meteorites were very clear! Waking up to farm sounds was a delight.
I went on a very hot day, but be mindful, it gets pretty chilly at night, so be prepared for that.

I work in travel healthcare and was in need of a last minute hookup for my RV. I stopped for gas in Colfax and being late in the day on July 4th weekend - all RV park offices were closed. Headed towards Tacoma / Enumclaw, after a long couple of days driving and dry camping, I found Matt's farm shortly before sunset. Very thankful I did, though I didn't get much rest as intended because I stayed up all night watching the stars and milky way. No regrets there.
He and his wife were still outside working the farm when I rolled in, and made me feel welcomed and with good conversation. The farm and land were extremely beautiful, and my dog got to stretch his legs and meet a few animals he never had before. When leaving the next day, Matt made a route suggestion which avoided the congested interstate and turned out to be the most scenic / memorable part of my drive from South Louisiana to West Washington, and for that I am extra thankful!
Good things always happen when two Matts meet - I will definitely be looking this place up if ever my travels bring me back around.
10/10 - Land, farm, stars, hospitality, and route suggestion

Wonderful spot. We will definitely be returning. Communication was consistent and clear- directions were easy to follow and the space was easy to use. The hosts were kind and helpful. Renee shared all sorts of goodies from their garden. While the space is in town, it felt private and had a nice on-the-farm feel.

The farm was magical, a little slice of heaven, and very private. The hosts were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area so much, so we booked an extra night here. Our site was located right between the miniature horses and dwarf goats, it was a level site. My husband loved going out the door to pet the miniature horses at all times of the day. The host must of noticed and brought him grooming brushes and let him in the enclosure with Pickles and Cal. The farm had goats, miniature horses, cats, ducks, geese, cows, chickens, a larger roaster, and a large St. Bernard named Bernie that loved tummy rubs. We wish this was closer to home, we would come more often to get away and relax. Make sure to visit Spokane falls while in the area.

A beautiful and welcoming property on the outskirts of Lewiston, ID. This is one of the most restful and pleasant HipCamp sites I’ve experienced in the last three years. With a ranch feel, including livestock of all kinds, bountiful gardens, and all the amenities you need for a peaceful and restful stay. Renee and her husband are gracious hosts and will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. 5 stars!
