The property is filled with wild life. Mornings will be greeted with birdsong and our fields occasionally with elk, dear, and coyotes. Our property is a bird haven, so if you love watching birds we get regular sightings of Hawks, Eagles, Sparrows, Robins and little peaks of the adorable Humming birds. Our bunny population has no issues reproducing and filling all our bushes with their cute tails. If adventure is your desire, we are located perfectly!
Mt. Rainier scenic drive can be enjoyed from either 401 or a short drive to the southern entrance. Passing through Elbe where you can stop for a nice bite to eat on a train at the Mt. Rainier Railroad Dining Co. or visit a car show in the small quaint town of Eatonville. There's a plethora of things to do from hiking to kayaking, fishing, scenic drives, memorable dining, buying local organic fruit, visiting the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park and so much more. We truly love our property and it's location and we're excited to share it with you.

Tent Camping We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us.

"Osborne's Den" (tiny A-Frame Cabin) and "The Moose Site" (a full hook up RV/Camp site) both nestled on this quaint 1/2 acre lot (they rent separately... not together). Just minutes from Mt. Rainier National Park.
"Osborne's Den" has basic power inside the building and a water spigot just outside. There is a queen sized bed (you bring your own bedding).

10 acre homestead on the outskirts of downtown North Bend at the base of Mt. Si. Breathtaking view of the mountain, peaceful pastures, amazing wildlife. Walk or ride to all the charm of Downtown North Bend (0.7 miles), The Snoqualmie River (0.5 miles) or The Snoqualmie Trail (0.5 miles). Close to Rattlesnake Lake (6.5 miles) and a huge variety of hiking trails. The farm is regularly visited by elk. During the spring and summer there are (sometimes) cows, (always) cats, chickens, ducks, and three working dogs on the property. Hollow Tree Campsite is private, located on the far side of the pasture, next to a seasonal creek (dry in the summer). Jake's Corner is more open and located on the westside of the pasture. For those wanting hookups to a water hose or electricty, Barn Camp is an excellent option. The host was very communicative and responded quickly with answers to questions. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from the busy city life and be out in the woods!

This cabin is peaceful. It had everything we needed for comfort. It is maintained with thoughtfulness. The cabin is clean and stocked with supplies making it easy to care for while there. The weather was very cold (26 to 38 degrees) as expected and we stayed toasty,
The roads are well maintained and the mountain spectacular.
We will come back when we can spend more time outside enjoying the grounds and exploring.
This was a fabulous place to retreat and spend time with friends.
Our dog was so happy, she is part husky and was in her element outside. She loved it. We all did.

Great spot! Lots of room. Full hookups! Our 32 ft trailer got in and out just fine but I wouldnt try to pull in in the dark! Get there early!! Great cell service with Tmobile. Blazing mobile data speeds.
We stayed here to ski at White pass which is about 20 mins away. Just far enough to get out of the freezing weather with the trailer.

It's a very quiet getaway, but close enough to the city. The professional and friendly staff make it feel at home. The community house is stocked full of pots and pans and other baking utensils to virtually make anything you may be craving to make. I would definitely stay here again if needing a weekend getaway to destress myself.

This was our second time staying at Steve and Starla’s campsite! The property is spacious and well kept, also close to the Mt. Rainier park entrance. Although the weather this time was not ideal, our group had a great time during our trip. Thank you to Steve for suggesting site 2 which is a little higher ground and surrounded by trees to keep us a little drier during our stay. The hosts were able to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. Overall I would highly recommend this campsite. Thank you again for hosting us and wish you well in the future!
