My husband & I put a lot of blood sweat & tears into making this a place our kids would enjoy during our weekend vacations to Leavenworth. We love hiking & there are a ton of nearby hikes. Despite it being located on the other side of the train tracks, we always seem to have a good time. We hope you enjoy it too! Learn more about this land: Outdoor enthusiast will enjoy this glamp spot! Utilize the dry cabin equipped with two twin size beds, a pullout couch bed, a dining table with 4 chairs & extra seating. With plenty of space outdoors, feel free to pitch a tent or bring your RV for friends! It is a dry cabin meaning there is no running water. We have it powered with a solar panel which should give enough electricity to charge phones & lights as needed. There is also an outhouse with a compost bucket if you'd like to use that. The downside to this lovely parcel is it's on the opposite side of the train tracks, so there will be occasional noise. Maybe it adds to the uniqueness? Just keep that in mind as once in a blue moon, the train does stop so you may be stuck for a few minutes. Oh & those power lines sometimes make a crackling noise. Sometimes we notice it & other times we don't. Now that we got that out of the way, the pros are it's a great place to explore. There are a ton of nearby hikes. This spot is in between Stevens Pass & the famous Alps candy store, with each being about 15 mins away. There is a gas station/convenient store, a few diners, and a rest stop within 5 minutes. Historical Leavenworth is about 20 mins.  There is a spot for campfires, a small 2 burner propane stove & an ice chest for your convenience, but you will need to bring the propane.

Welcome to Scenic Cedars! Our campground is located just off Highway 2, the first property as you turn onto the Old Cascade Highway. Entrance to the property is by the gate to the rest area and up the trail. Currently we have some tent spots cleared out to set up camp. There will be 5gal fresh drinking water on the property and the rest area has compost toilets, otherwise it's dry camping. Please pack out all garbage. In order to have an open fire, you will need to get a permit from the Skykomish fire department. They are free and can be picked up in town, about 15 minute from the Iron Goat! Some firewood will be provided and you may purchase additional. Please be safe! The Trail runs directly through the property so there may be some passer-by visible but the brush is pretty dense in summer so there is a decent amount of privacy. Feel free to take advantage of the whole property and please don't mind the construction. :)

Absolutely loved this campsite! It was an adventure to get there and the views were so worth it! The host was very responsive and gave great directions on how to get there! Even with all the smoke from the fires the view was breathtaking! Definitely recommend anyone will love it!

Weekend Trip to Lake Wenatchee RV Resort

This spot was nice, flat ground for leveling trailer. Very well kept and clean. You can tell the place is loved. Super spacious and clean bathrooms and showers. Do have to pay for shower, so bring quarters! The squirrel tree restaurant was nice with a coffee shop as well. Bar was off the hook with live music on Saturday night (stopped music by 930 to not annoy campers.)

Super cute little a-frame with enough room to sleep and some space to store your gear. I didn't try it the shower but it looks like a good setup and really appreciated the running toilet on-site. Nice off the highway base camp for adventures.

Christine’s land was perfect for a quiet getaway. It is on a farm, so you do hear animals from a far distance. It was not annoying whatsoever. Plenty of room for larger tents or even multiple tents. The river access was really nice for sitting next to with a cocktail or early morning coffee. The toilet is a little bit of a walk, but I always bring my own.

My friend and I enjoyed staying here. We arrived much later than expected and Kay was very welcoming and gracious. The shower / bathroom was very clean and easy to access. The bed in the A-frame was comfortable and we appreciated that she provided a lamp as we forgot ours!

His property is super super clean and most amazing right next to the river. I will definitely go back for a weekend vacation or any camping trip. The owners were great and communicative! They had a drive in movie and group games which sets them apart. The campsites are small and don’t provide much privacy but if you aren’t planning on staying at your site much, this is a great option. There is a bathroom but not close to the campsite. Overall, I’d recommend The stay and would book again.

We really loved the remoteness! Phil was very helpful guiding our RV in and making us feel comfortable. Osprey site is the best with river views and amazing star gazing. The river was clear, cool and refreshing. We will definitely be back.
