Engevik Point has a dock and water entrance. Guests are welcome to use the grassy area closest to the lake.

Loved this mountain space, drove down a gravel road through some beautiful farmland before we reached our spot. Set up a tiny fire in the pit and a tent for the night and it was perfect! A little windy, as expected from the top of a scenic mountain, but overall a wonderful experience. Would come again and recommend to anyone looking for a private camping spot to enjoy the views and wind down :) Thanks for the stay

Beautiful views! Nice and flat spot to setup our tent. The ground was hard so we couldn’t put the tent stakes in the ground, but fortunately there was very little wind so it wasn’t an issue. We will definitely try and come back again.

This spot delivered on views, privacy, and relaxation! Stunning and unique. Things to note: Yes - there is a well maintained dirt/gravel road to the campsite, but it's still quite rough so drive slowly & make sure you bring a vehicle that can withstand some rough washboard conditions. Wind - Previous posters mentioned this, but the when the wind kicks up, it's legit. There's no way a fire would have been safe or it be feasible to pitch a tent (the ground is very rocky, so this might be difficult anyway) in these conditions. With this said, the wind died down completely by midnight and it remained totally still the next morning, so I think it's just something to be prepared for. Our campervan provided the provisions we needed in the unexpected conditions, but you may want to bring a contingency plan if you plan to tent camp/rely on an open fire. We didn't have any trouble at all in mosquitos or hornets in mid-July. If you're a photographer - bring your gear. The sunset is stunning, the stars are abundant, and even the rolling fields that travel through to get to the site are beautiful we saw deer prancing through these! Great communication from the host - take his advice and use WAZE. The wayfinding signage is very good.

Awesome! So many options for how to orient our camper van - had a hard time choosing because all of the views are stunning. Complete privacy. Our stay was super windy - fun for van campers, but I’d worry about a tent! Listen to the host and ignore Google maps’ route in - follow the signs once you hit the area. Such a terrific 2-day secluded getaway.

Was a little nervous with the rocky drive in and finding a spot to stake down the tent was a bit of a challenge but the views are worth it! The beautiful wildflowers, shaded swing, light breeze, glowing sunset and clear skies to see the stars were highlights of this trip!

Van camping spot with a beautiful view, well worth the drive from the city. End of April was a perfect time to see the wildflowers. We lucked out with sunny skies, but should have taken wind gusts into account—makes for difficult outdoor cooking and campfires. However, when the winds stopped, it was the most peaceful experience.

We loved our stay at Earthlight! Almost every angle had a beautiful view of the mountains and valleys. We will highly recommend this site to others. We have a very reactive dog and this site was perfect for her. No other noises or animals around (minus the occasional bird or two, which she’s fine with) it was fun watching her truly relaxed for a few days. Great place to disconnect and enjoy the beauty.

This has been one of my fav. Spots I've found on here. The road getting to the spot is not great be warned (I drive a rav4 with all terrain tires) BUT it's worth it! Just go slow and you'll be OK. Beautiful sunset and gorgeous views all around. Loved it!
