The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of State and federal land which are free to explore. Winter tends to bring significant snowfall which makes this a great destination for winter sports as well. The property sits on top of a mountain plateau known as Harmony Heights. The site is about a 20 minute drive to Brewster or Pateros and about 40 minutes to Lake Chelan.  This is an fairly large site and will accommodate two RV's as well as plenty of area for tent camping. There is plenty of good spots to play with dogs without any conflicts. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Weekend Trip to Del Rosario Family Vineyard

We had a great visit on Renato’s land. It was so beautiful and we had the place to ourselves! We did a wine tasting with Renato and his wine is delicious! It was wonderful hearing the story of his winery and learn about his love for wine making. Our dogs had so much fun playing fetch on our site. The spots are huge with plenty of room for pets and kids to run around and explore! Beautiful views of the valley to wake up to. Thank you for hosting us Renato!

Gorgeous views, cozy tent. Lovely, caring hosts. You can't have open wood fires in the Methow valley, but the hosts have provided a gas fueled fire pit so you can sit around a fire under the stars. You can hike up to a stunning view of the mountains and the hills. It was heavenly.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this spot. So cozy and exactly what my soul needed that weekend. I loved watching the coyotes retreat to their dens in the morning, the raven that constantly visited the fence post, the sagebrush and rattling wind. The tent had EVERYTHING. I didn’t need half of what I packed. Amazing people who were wonderful communicators despite the service. I will absolutely be back here over and over again.

3 nights at Sasquatch Villa

Great location with stunning views. It's definitely up there, and the road initially feels a little sketchy, but don't let that scare you. I was easily able to tow a 30ft trailer up no problem, and Chris came right out to assist and asked if I needed anything! Being so high, be prepared for wind, but if you get a night with no wind, the sunset views are amazing! I would definitely stay at these sites again!

We loved the tent on Kellie's property. The methow views were beautiful. Watching the sunrise and sunset was absolutely amazing. The tent was clean and the set up was nicely thought out. Kellie had a charging block ready for us in the tent that also had a lamp on it, as well as 3 lights on another charging block. We did not have cell service which made it even more peaceful. The town of Twisp was a 10 minutes away. The people there were very friendly. The hubby and I will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to River Recreation's Basecamp

Don's space was a decent place to spend a quick night while we were at an event in Leavenworth. Directions were clear and the site was tidy. It's located on his basecamp for river rafting, so it's convenient for a quick night or two, but wouldn't be intended for private relaxation. The white noise from the river and wind was great! The traffic noise isn't disturbing, and the train only went by once.
