The campground is situated at the South end of Alta Lake, opened in 1946 and operated by my Grandparents until 1980, when my father decided to continue operations adding Outfitting and Guide services into the Pasayten and Sawtooth Wilderness areas. Covid put a halt on business for a few years, but we are back and making some gradual upgrades and changes to offer camping and horseback riding experiences again! The lake is 220 acres known to Anglers near and far. Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. Must book horseback riding in advance. My husband and I enjoyed our time at the cabin! Jessica was very kind and made sure we were well taken care of. The campground is very kept. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing in the mornings with coffee. It is a very cute little place and we would definitely stay again!

Super cute little a-frame with enough room to sleep and some space to store your gear. I didn't try it the shower but it looks like a good setup and really appreciated the running toilet on-site. Nice off the highway base camp for adventures.

Great cabin in a quiet campground with amazing views and a cute swing on the porch to enjoy. Bathrooms are right next door (bring quarters) and the place was very clean and tidy. Really enjoyed my evening here and will be back!

We loved the A Frame cabin on Kay’s property! She was such a great host and even stayed up late to make sure we could check in!!! I would definitely recommend! The showers were also awesome!!
