All sites are riverfront and the adjoining property is a state fishing access and boat launch used by rafters and fishermen. The site is at the very end of the popular "Black canyon" section of the Methow river. Rafting and fishing guides use this property regularly. There is ample space for boat and trailer parking. There is a winery in walking distance that offers a beautiful oudoor tasting experience. Winter opportunities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Nearby the recreational opportunities abound. Alta Lake is a popular tourist area only 2 miles away. 4 miles away is Lake Pateros - home to many popular species of gamefish with massive runs of salmon passing eagerly anticipated each year in summer. Spaces large enough for large busses and trailers for directly pull in in spaces #1 and #2. Space #3 is back-in only. Upon entry to property if you need to disconnect vehicle or trailers, there is a large space Southeast upon entry. Caretaker lives on site in the farmhouse. Pets are allowed on leash or off-leash under supervision. We have a 100-year old barn Airbnb barn cabin, if you need more space or you want to do private events with large yard for tents. If you are looking for a quiet camp spot away from noise do not camp here on the weekends during wedding season. I enjoyed our spot and there were maybe a couple more spots that are quieter during an event. I liked everything by else about the campgrounds!

We love Buck Meadows and have been camping here for years. The site is private and picturesque yet located quite close to town. The sites are ready-to-go with a fire pit, table, garbage, and benches/chairs, so it is easy to roll in with your tent and enjoy the space immediately. Brynn is always very receptive and helpful, and we can't wait to come back again!

Weekend Trip to 1895 Farmhouse Charm

I really enjoyed my stay here. The property is beautiful and waking up to the sunrise over the hills was such a treat. The site looks out over a field, and mine had some shade plus a little pond nearby that made it feel extra peaceful. There was plenty of parking, which made things super easy. The property also had cornhole set up and a huge open yard that was perfect for tossing a frisbee or just hanging out. There’s an RV on the property for anyone who doesn’t want to tent camp, which is a nice option. My host, Hope, was wonderful, she even took the time to walk me around and show me the different sites. The location is quiet, not on a busy road, so it’s easy to relax and just enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely go back.

After a recon mission to Teanaway and Taneum, I stumbled upon Brynn’s property and knew this was the perfect place for my family’s very first camping trip. The sites are private and extremely easy to access. It’s peaceful, fun, and truly the perfect place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some time outdoors. Our kiddo was able to ride his bike, run around, go on the paddle boat, throw rocks in the river, and even got to meet Fudge, Tootsie, Salt & Pepper (Brynn’s goats and lambs)! We only live 15 minutes away and felt like we were able to really “get away from it all.” The location is perfect for a quick weekend away or an extended stay if you’re traveling. I can’t say enough about Brynn - she’s accommodating, helpful, engaged, and checks on you to make sure everything is going well. We are grateful to cross paths and will 100% be returning very soon! 1000/10 stars!

Our particular spot was perfect for us. We have a 40' toyhauler and a 25' cab and chassis truck. The spot had enough for that plus our jeep and then some. The views are great. The sound of the river is perfect. The full hook ups are right next to the site.

Just had a great stay at Philville! Stayed in Osprey's Perch that had the best view for morning coffee, plus can't beat full hook-ups with a travel trailer. The walk to the river is easy and there's a great beach and swimming hole. Phil is a very accomodating host, super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and his little puppers are so cute! Definitely will stay again soon!

Relaxing and quiet area to spend some time. My kids loved the pond and the paddle boat. Easy to relax and enjoy the day here. The river is beautiful but was high and fast (in June). We would like to go back later in the season to see it when the river is lower. Be prepared for mosquitoes during the evening and early mornings.
