This peaceful oasis is absolutely lovely for individuals exploring the greater Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, and looking to be inspired by regenerative agriculture. Or farm is also home to Harbor Herbalist Teas, a small loose leaf tea company. We grow many of the herbs in our teas and are always excited to share our abundance with guests. Each guest will receive a basket of our in season produce and each dwelling has a selection of herbal teas to try.

This space is my home and comes fully equipped with everything to make this stay feel like you are home away from home!
Please enjoy TV that comes with the Roku and my subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. You'll find a fully stocked kitchen, a stove and refrigerator/freezer, toaster, kettle and French press coffee. Extra additions such as an Instant Pot, small blender, and popcorn maker are also available.
The home includes:
- 4 spacious bedrooms
- An indoor dining space that comfortably seats 6 with leaves that can be added to be able to accommodate 10 people - and 2 additional seats in the kitchen bar area.
- A large outdoor deck with a grill for BBQ, eucalyptus wood table and bench that seats 8 for outdoor entertainment
- Expansive garden surrounded by forest and woodland trails to enjoy alone, in groups, or with your dog(s).
- Outdoor hot-tub with mountain views lit with globe lights for ambience.
- Yoga studio (which can be heated during the winter).
- Your stay Includes bath towels, hot tub towels, robes, toiletries, etc.
What you will find near Pentoria Lodge:
- The log home is located on a hill close to the Skykomish River with a view of the mountains.
- There are three towns located nearby.
1. Duvall is my personal favorite and is 20 minutes away to enjoy boutique shops, breweries, lunch spots, great dinner restaurants, ice cream, and a Safeway.
2. Monroe has everything you would need including restaurants, shops, hardware stores, pet stores, antique stores, and grocery stores.
3. Sultan is on the way to Stevens Pass ski resort and is much smaller but has a great bakery!
Nearby activities include hiking, skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding.
All the spots that I would recommend visiting can be found in the Welcome Guide upon your arrival.
Important things to know:
- Staying in this home means you are staying within nature. Deer are regularly around the property, or can be seen in the woods during your drive up. Please be respectful to them. There has been the occasional bear sighting, so please be aware. There is bear spray in the property, but I have only seen a bear twice and have been able to scare it away with a tap on the window! My space is surrounded by woods and forest, and though I treat the exterior to keep out pests, there are all sorts of creatures great and small, including insects and mice, which unfortunately can be a reality of nature for all the homes up on the hill. Please take into consideration that my home may not be a right fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife, but for others, it can bring enjoyment.
Please take a look at my house rules to familiarize yourself with the do's and dont's, especially if you will be using this space for a larger entertainment gathering.

Guest access
There is enough space for 3 cars to park at the top of the driveway and next to the log cabin. Any other cars can fit down by the yoga studio and garage, but please note, the driveway is not for the faint of heart - it is steep!
During the winter months you will need a 4-wheel drive to make it to the top of the driveway. When it gets icy, it is not recommend to drive the driveway, but parking at the bottom and walking up through the pasture is what I do to get home!
There is an electronic lockbox for your convenience that will let you into the house with a special code that I will email to you once the property is booked and you are confirmed to be arriving.
Your GPS may take you a slightly different route. I will email instructions on the easiest way to the lodge. There will also be signs to 'Pentoria Lodge' to follow for easier directions.
Other things to note
There are deer, squirrels, rabbits, owls, and other critters that may roam the property as the log home is surrounded by forest and is home to many creatures great and small. Some of the tiny ones may get into the house from time to time. Refunds cannot be granted because of a spider, fly, wasp, mouse, or any woodland critter. I strive to keep the property as thoroughly clean as possible with monthly pest control to mitigate the chances of seeing any creatures in the property and appreciate your full understanding should an insect or critter make a small appearance. Should this happen, please reach out to me asap and I will do anything I can to take care of it and to make your stay a 5 Star experience!

We loved staying in the cabin on Jene's farm! The accommodations were very comfortable - great open layout for the living room and kitchen, comfortable bed, picture windows of the forest, reliable wifi. The porch was a nice place to sit in the sun and relax. Highlights were walking around the farm to explore the diverse range of things they grow, from dahlias to peaches, strawberries, and herbs. Hosts were very welcoming and accomodating. It was a treat to purchase their jam and we'll be looking for them at farmer's markets in Seattle for their flowers, tea and jam whenever we can.
10 minute drive from groceries, restaurants and the Southworth ferry yet secluded and quiet. Friendly to dogs on a leash. We'll be back as soon as we can- can't wait to stay in the schoolbus.
